nancy canty
i hesitate to post my email address on this public site. is there a way we can delete the message after you get my email address? i would like to have the photo of nancy canty and any other information you are willing to share. she is not my direct line but her brother david is. he married lucy dixon and their daughter mary elizabeth is my gr grandmother.
one thing that perplexes me is the name of the parents attributed to Nancy in the cemetery book. it says her parents are john and jane young. i believe they were william and claracy (clarissa) young. who do you have in your records as her parents. i would like to know who wrote the cemetery book so i can contact them and find out the source of their information. i have the phone number for the library and the names of Sherry and Rene as persons that might help me.

also, ann canty wellborn sent me a message after i messaged you and told me she and her husband erected a marker for nancy. she sent me a picture. it is erected on top of the unmarked slab. i have asked her if i can post it on find a grave and am waiting for her reply.

sorry for long message. here is my email: let me know if it does not work for some reason.

Nancy Canty
Can you tell me if Nancy Canty is buried in Greenwood cemetery? I set her up on find a grave based on a copy of an obituary that stated she would be buried there. However, when I requested a photo, the person who worked the request said she was buried at a private cemetery in Moss POint. this person also said that William Canty's grave was unmarked; however, I notice there is a photo on the memorial you set up.
