I began researching my own genealogy at the age of 15 in 2000 when my Mother got me interested in it. She had started genealogy in the 1970s, but it had come to a halt when she needed the 1910 census to be released. Since then I have become addicted to researching my family, my husband's and a few of my friend's as well. If I neglect to leave a thank you note for anyone who fulfills any photo requests, I'm sorry. I get bombarded with genealogy contacts every day and sometimes I lose track. I know that genealogy would be much more difficult than it already is without the help of volunteers. So thank you all, for everything you do.|
Names I research:
Killian, Solomon, Catlege, Eckhardt, Olesinski, O'Beck (originally Hoebeke), DeGlopper, Fochtman, Alexander, Eastwood, Couts, Meredith, Vigil, Burris, Casey, and many others.
CEMETERY PHOTOS OUT OF MY AREA:
Anywhere I travel, I usually stop and visit cemeteries that are old or interesting. If I have posted photos from other states or areas outside of Southern California, I took those photos on a trip, and unfortunately cannot take volunteer photos for those locations.

Hi Ashley. You're welcome. I'm sorry there was no marker. I wish everyone liked the "no marker" photo I added when no marker exists. Unfortunately, just before your message was sent, I deleted a nasty message from someone stating that the same image was "insulting". You can't please everyone. Take care.

Glad to be of service!
|Albert Ledoux||John Wiley photo|
I was out in Alto-Reste cemetery this afternoon, picking up markers that were installed in the last two years since I canvassed the entire cemetery.
As for John Wiley, he never got an individual marker in the family plot. I figured I would at least load a picture of the large family stone, so he would have something showing on his page!

You are very welcome! it was my pleasure to get the photo for you.
|Sandra||RE: Victoria Burris|
I uploaded your photos to the memorial at Colusa Cem, but I notice you have an earlier memorial you manage for her at another cem (62659815). You'll probably want to request a merger of the two so that there isn't a duplicate. (You can contact the other memorial manager but ultimately one of you will have to email email@example.com since they have to accomplish the merger -- it tends to go smoother if you tell them how to resolve conflicting info such as cemetery and birth date). I'm glad I was able to locate her for you this trip. Colusa isn't very active as far as volunteers, so I decided to fulfill what I could for others while picking up my own photos.

|Gary Davis||RE: Lucy Adrianse|
Hi Ashley. Are you related to the Adrianses? My grandmother was an Adrianse, but I'm not sure how Lucy and the others near her in Greenwood Cemetery may be related to my branch.
I actually live in the same neighborhood as my ancestors when they first came to Michigan from the Netherlands. I found this out after I bought my house.
|Sandra||RE: Victoria Burris|
No, he is not there either. The only Burris marker in the area (and at this spot) is Lena Whitt Burris 1900-1980. I'll post that photo w/in a few days (am travelling and have a lot of photos to process).

If you can call Calvary Cemetery (323)261-3106 for the grave location I will get the photo for you! Do not email because they Probably will not reply. I would call for you but Since I am probably the only regular active volunteer there I have made many many calls to them for locations and they are very annoyed with me.

You have a picture request for St. Patrick Cemetery in Canonsburg, PA. The request has been fulfilled. You can delete the request.
