NOTE: I am happy to transfer memorials to family members and/or friends so don't hesitate to ask!|
As I'm sending a number of you changes* for your pages, additions, etc., please know that I do thank you even if I don't send each of you a thank you - THANKS to you all. (*The changes I'm finding are in the "Variety Obituaries" series of books.)
Author of "The Stars of Hollywood Forever," "The Stars of Hollywood Forever: 1901-2006" and most recently "The Stars of Hollywood Forever - A Who's Who of Hollywood's Final Resting Place" and "The Stars of Hollywood Forever Revisited." Check the latest version out on "lulu.com"
* A note from Find a Grave: Tony Scott's book is highly recommended. Wonderfully detailed and accurate. I've been using it for years...and it's been updated by the author regularly!

JL seems to be unmarked - I searched the entire area using the plot info on his page. I'll post a photo of the area where he must be. Jim

Thank you for the info. I've added it to the bio.

Thank you for the bio! I added the info. My cousin, Anne Nichols, wrote "Abie's Irish Rose." That is my other cousin, Evelyn Nichols (Anne's sister) in the photo with Ida.
thanks so much for the info - the bio has been updated!

OK, thanks. I made edits to the memorial, I think the bulk of the information is compelling enough to make the changes. I declined your edit as I used Sep 26 as her death date. I posted her Dallas obituary on the memorial.

Thank you for that information, but I have a question which I hope you can clarify. Most of the information I find jibes well with your information, but news accounts of the incident list her name as Betty Jean (or Bettie J Stier in the Texas death index) rather than Jessie. Do you know, did she use a stage name, or is there some other explanation? The accounts note the 65 foot dive on the evening of 25 Sep 1929, and that she died in the early morning from the injuries on 26 Sep. Hoping you can clarify.

First let me thank you for the use of the photo for Washington Barrett's Memorial Page. Since I asked for that I have found that you also contributed to several other "Boys in Blue" Memorials, that had a connection to Vermont, either by birth or service.;#93020098 Orville Bell; 57009066 John Hackett; 79424012 Truman Naramore
75452755 Jared Rockwell; and 23656936 George Wilcox.May I use these photo's too, for the same purpose.
Yes, indeed, you will receive credit for each one.
Thank you for your consideration.
