Please select the option for "Other" in the "Type of photo:" to be added, as it is not a Grave, Person or Family photograph. NOTE: Death certificates do not necessarily contain completely accurate information about the deceased. There are often errors regarding the final burial location (as well as other data).

Dear Concerned Find-A-Gave Contributors and visitors,

Regarding: DUPLICATE MEMORIALS in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, Rockingham Va, Hardy WV and surrounding area.

A former large volume Find-A-Grave Contributor had a dispute with Find-A-Grave staff and Deleted some 80% or more, of their contributed memorials, estimated to be about 40,000 or so. Thus causing the rest of us local Contributors, over the last year or more, to re-enter those family, friends and distant relatives we noted were missing.

Once Find-A-Grave had decided to take positive action, they reloaded all the Deleted memorials from that former Find-A-Grave Contributor, on Wednesday, 25 feb 2015.
(When they reloaded it had there old dates like 2007 ETC...Making the other Find A Grave member look like they purposely created doubles)
Find-A-Grave staff, undoubtedly knew they would cause tens of thousands of Duplicates, and assigned their staffer, known as 'ProjectMgr' to work through their Merge process.

Please be patient and allow Find-A-Grave to work through the entire group of Duplicate memorials.

If anyone gets Find A Grave to transfer memorials cared for by ProjectMgr Just a heads up I dont delete any connected to ProjectMgr.I worked hard to replace all the memorials that had been deleted.Find A Grave choice to re-upload the Old Deleted memorials And we work free on this site.So if anyone wants our memorials Have Find A Grave Merge them or if you don't have a problem merging then more power to you.

I do want to thank anyone that has helped with my duplicates created after the major upload of old memorials formerly deleted.I really appreciate the help
