Alan Naldrett is a Michigan historian, with a Master's Degree in Archives and also one in Information Science. He is an academic research librarian at Baker College of Auburn Hills and edits the student and the alumni newsletters as well as maintaining their archives. He is a charter member of the Macomb County Historical Commission and a former Vice-Chairperson. He is the Treasurer and past President of the Chesterfield Township Public Library Board of Trustees and has been on the board for over twelve years. He has written a history column for the library newsletter for the last four years. He is also a life member of the Chesterfield Historical Society and is the archivist for Chesterfield Township. He is a Life Member of the New Baltimore Historical Society and was given their Award of Merit for 2013.

He is the author of many local history articles that have been printed on the Macomb County, New Haven, and Patch websites, in the Thumb Print News, The New York Village Voice, The Bay Voice, and others. He writes a monthly history column for the local Beacon NewsMagazine.
