Bio and Links
Bio Photo I reside in Prattville, Autauga County, Alabama. I am researching the following families: Caver, Dillard, Tyus, Moore, Farris, England, Christian, Banks, etc. I am a descendant of Clement Billingsley, who was a veteran of the American Revolutionary War, and early settler of Autauga County, Alabama. I am also the descendant of Simeon Moore, born ca 1792 in NC, lived at Washington County, GA, and then went to Arkansas prior to 1829. Simeon is one of my "forever projects"- I am still trying to prove who his parents were.

I am the author of 17 books relating to genealogy and history. Publications include: Death & Marriage Notices From Autauga County Ala. Newspapers(1853-1889); Death Notices from the Prattville Progress (1890-1910);Death, Marriage & Probate Notices From Montgomery, Ala. Newspapers, Vol. I-II; Death & Marriage Notices From Jefferson County, Ala. Newspapers, Vol. I-II; Death, Marriage & Legal Notices From Tallapoosa County, Ala. Newspapers (1860-1890) Abstracts From Alabama Newspapers, Vol. I-II; Death, Marriage & Legal Notices From Marengo County, Ala. Newspapers; My bucket list project is entitled, "Caver's Encyclopedic History of Alabama", which is a massive collection (5,000 plus pages currently) of everything related to people, places and events in Alabama. I hope to release Volume I (A-B) in 2017-2018.

Rock Springs Cemetery, Tuscaloosa Co.
The information you have listed for Paul W. Christian seems to be incorrect according to his gravestone. I have added the photo to his listing.
Also, Rock Springs is not located in Windham Springs. It is closer to Whitson. I will check the mile marker and let you know where it is located on Ala. Hwy 69.

Larry, a newspaper cannot validate a person's age. For an age to be validated you need an international organ such as the Gerontology Research Group. I have investigated Sadie Caver and a big issue is that she is never listed as living with her parents in any of the US censuses. I found a match for a Sadie M Stoudenmire living in Autauga with relatives in the 1900 US Census. Her age was given as 12, suggesting a final age of 115. The biggest issue with Sadie Caver is that we know extremely little about her life before she married Herbert Caver. Was she married before that? Where did she live? Did she have any children? Are there any newspaper articles about her that gives more information about her life?

I was wondering if you know more about Mrs. Sadie Mae Caver, who allegedly lived to be 116?

Larry, are your books available for purchase or inter-library loan? I find it interesting that the Montgomery Advertiser seemed to pick up so many obituaries statewide. I am in search of an obituary for Edward Steadham or perhaps spelled Stedham who died at Deer Park, Washington County, Alabama July 21, 1900. I have had no luck in the Washington or Mobile county papers. His wife, who died in 1915 had an obituary which was published in Montgomery.
