I was born on the "South Side" of Chicago, Illinois. My family, originally Southerners, returned to the South when I was less than a year old. My father was a well respected pastor who led me to the Lord when I was seven years old. I was honored to have him baptize me later that same year. I served in the US Army between the years of 1981 and 1983. I did my "permanent-party" duty at Ft. Campbell, Ky. I am married with one child. I have always been a history buff, actually majoring in history at Cleveland State Community College in Cleveland, Tennessee and Tennessee Wesleyan College in Athens, Tennessee. I am Missionary Baptist, by religious persuasion and Republican in political persuasion. I currently serve as Past Master of my Lodge and in many other offices, includeing: Funeral Master, District Deputy Chairman, History Committee for the Tenness Grand Lodge, F&AM. One of the proudest moments of my life came on 16 Jul 02 when I was raised as a Master Mason in Meridian Sun Lodge No. 50 in Athens, Tennessee. I also proudly serve as Past Master of my lodge. Furthermore, on 10 Sep 05 I completed my York Rite degrees and was dubbed "Sir Knight" in Athens Commandery #34.For all gravers and genealogists, feel free to use any and all pics I may post. It gives me the greatest pleasure to assist someone in honoring a loved one who has gone on to their reward.|

|Della||Memorials #7658997 and Memorial #7673703|
Both of these memorials are for Mollie Hayes, wife of A. H. Hayes. They have different cemeteries shown for her, but the one in Calhoun Community Cemetery is the correct one. Except for the difference in cemeteries, one is a duplication for the other. Can you remove the incorrect one? Also Mollie's birth year was 1850, not 1890. She was the wife of Alexander Hamilton Hayes, son of Absolum Creamer Hayes. Thank you.

I read what you wrote about yourself & just wanted to say THANKS for what you do. There are people who cannot get to a cemetery & it's people like you that could mean the difference in someone being able to find their relatives.
I hope this message finds you in good health & may God bless you for helping others.

|William McIntyre Danner||2 Memorials same person|
You and I have communicated before so I thought that I'd contact you in order to figure out how to combine our two memorials for the same person. That person is Mary E Damron Jacobs.
My memorial # for her is 112013767, created in 2013.
Your memorial # for her is 5685032, created in 2001.
Since yours was 1st, I think mine should be the one to be deleted, but I also think that my bio, containing more information than yours, should be incorporated into yours before mine is deleted.
What do you think needs to happen? You can either respond here or by private email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you for your consideration.

I was going to put links to his parents but
have a problem. He is listed in McMinn
and also Monroe #74552571. I personally do
not know which one is correct. I will leave
a message for the creator of the Monroe.

|Angela Wilson ||Isaac lane|
Isaac is my 9th great uncle his father my 10th great grandfather is John fuller lane married to Elizabeth cloud. I am trying to figure out how I can visit Isaac's grave and how he is related to general James tidence lane buried in Athens.
Thanks in advance
Hello, My regular email is crashed at the moment or I would send one. Sorry. While I am no expert, but do see others questioning your linking possibly the incorrect Isaac Lane to our ancestor. For clarification (maybe) I have added a page from the History of Jasper County that hilited some lineage for you. I think possibly there was a famous black Isaac Lane who was a minister, but ours buried here is a white Isaac Lane son of Rev. Tidence Lane, also a minister. That article I posted in the photo portion refers to orphaned nieces Clara and Wealtha J. Dillimore who are actualy Clara and Wealtha J. Dittamore. Wealtha was my mothers grandmother and died in Spokane, Wa in 1920, see Wealtha Jane Young on find a grave, see her lineage all the way back on find a grave, where I think they are all linked back to late 1700's in Maryland, NC to Kentucky and finally Jasper County. In addition on one census I think in 1870 Jasper you see all their inlaws. i.e. my ancestors family surnames such as Dittamore, Bennetts, Lane, Strole, Glover etc as we know them to be and it really leaves no doubt as to which Isaac is buried in this cemetery. Simple google searches provide a great trail of the family, thus so much info available for confirmation. Thanks, please feel free to contact me, as I am not sure if anyone has contacted you regarding this, but I do notice someone placed a note on the flower portion stating same as I. If you look as I suggested there are many histories on our Isaac Cude Lane and his father Tidence Lane linking him to this grave. Thanks for you work, hopefully you might have some thoughts on this topic, perhaps I am the one wrong.

I was wondering if you would be able to check the actual tombstone for the death date. When I enlarge the picture the death year looks like 1916 instead of 1915 instead of 1915 but it's not that clear. I'm having trouble finding a death certificate and checking the date on the tombstone would be helpful.
Thank you for all you do!
