I became interested in my genealogy back in Middle school when we had to find out what our surname meant and make a coat of arms. I couldn't find any info on my surname because it turns out it was an Americanized version. Now I have tons of branches. :) |
Hit me up if we are possibly related.. :)
I have two groups on FB for cousins on two of my major lines. I also have a profile on WikiTree: Shockey-96
If I manage a memorial that is in your family I'll be happy to transfer it to you as long as it's not also my family. :)
Photo Release: Feel free to add any photos I've taken to your family history records. If you are going to use it for publication, etc then please photo credit me.
I apologize if anyone has emailed me or left a message below. I have been away several years from genealogy and am trying to get back into it despite my busy schedule.

I grew up in the Sand Run Baptist church and have many family members interred there. Is Abraham Shockey any relation to Minvera Shockey?
Hi, I believe you have the wrong info for the above Memorial#. I believe Thurza's final last name was Sheipline. See Memorial# 169237892. The birth date and death dates are exactly the same.

There is no stone according to the cemetery books.
One cemetery book has information on stones that were read the sexton book has records of people buried there. I do not find an arthur. He probably is buried there but no stone probably gone etc.or there never was a stone
you can call the cemetery and ask for Lynn the caretaker 2174226563 and see if he has a record

Thanks for the picture
Thank you for the correction. I changed the date and also added the Obituary to the page as well. If you happen to know the month and day of his date of birth or death, I will be more than happy to put it on the page as well.
