To any Stradiota. I am really great friends with the daughter of Carl Joseph Stradiota and have been asked to do some research. Nicola Stradiota was Joseph Carl Stradiota's father. He came over through Ellis Island on July 20, 1912. Family stories says she, Rosa D' Aleajandro was his wife or maybe not. She was possibly pregnant when they arrived in America. She is listed at Ellis Island with Nicola, but not as a Stradiota. Why? They lived with a Torretta family for a while, I believe in a boarding house on Summer Street, New Jersey and then according to J.C. Stradiota's daughter, Rosa and Nicola left, returning to Italy, leaving J.C. for awhile with a that family Torretta. They are listed in the New Jersey 1920 Census as Daniel and Laura Torretta, with J.C. Stradiota called Carlo age 6. Julia Stradiota remembers the Torretta family fondly and when Rose returned from Italy, Nicola did not come, she remarried a Rinaldo and had several more children. Half siblings to J.C Stradiota. Joseph Carl Stradiota married MANY MANY times, serving in WW2 and dying in Arkansas. He moved around lots.
I have many questions that the family would like answers too. Such as does any one know who Maria is and why she is pictured with a Carlo on ancestry.com .uk??? Is that the same Joseph Carl Stradiota that I am researching??? Does anyone have any pictures of the family, including J.C. Stradiota, Nicola, Rosa D' Alesjandro and the Torretta Family.
Many people including a Jessica Florence Stradiota have been looking for family genealogy research and I have not been able to reach anyone.
Please email me at: email@example.com
thank you, genealogist Misty

Larry Stradiota is buried at the Fair Oaks Cemetery, not in the Elk Grove cemetery. Would you please correct where the burial is? I have photographed the gravestones out there and his was one of them. Thank you,
this is for entry 13098362

Just thought it may be helpful to know the correct cemetery is NORTH OREGON Cemetery located on Bayshore Road, Oregon, Lucas County, Ohio which has over 800 memorials, not the newly created duplicate one with only 1 memorial and not 'Oregon' Cemetery created in error.
