Thanks for your information, which has been added to John's memorial giving you credit. Very interesting. I will be checking my book by Kathleen Miles to see if I can find other information about him.

Sharon, We returned to the Barnumton Cemetery to look for Josephine Wall & were unable to find her grave. There are supposed to be 64 graves but only about half that number have markers. There are a few small metal fence posts as markers but no names.

Barnumton Cemetery
I just found this cemetery -by accident- as I was driving by. I did walk through it & am excited that I now found it on Find A Grave. I notice that there is a photo request for a Josephine Wall & I plan to return to the cemetery in the next few days & see if I can find the grave.

I have not looked at a police report, but according to my brother she died at her own hand. I could not imagine, nor to this day conceive of her doing that. Yet her mother did the same according to Vickie, and I find that very disturbing. She and my brother got divorced, and he left for New Mexico. Two day's after he left her children could not get in touch with her. Then two days after that someone found her in her car in the drive way of an abandoned home. She was no longer with us. It was difficult to get pasted that. I still grieve for her. Yes I would like a copy of her obituary. I never got one, and would like to see it. She is buried within site of a chapel or building of some kind. I remember it while standing at the grave. I was pretty numb at the time. I cannot tell you how grief stricken I was standing there and it surprises me that I remember that. Thank you for your reply and have a blessed evening.

I appreciate that information. She was my sister-in-law and her loss was devastating. I did not start in findagrave until much later, and did not have her obituary. Again thank you!
Is there a way you can find the 65699683 for her mother
Mother: 72551776

I worked with her mother at Western Electric. She died a year and two months from her husband by her own hand. It was sad and a waste. I just wanted to update her information. My brothers wife made her memorial

RE: Laura Hedgpeth Hedgpeth
Hi Sharon,

Laura Ida was my 2nd great aunt. Her brother, Albert was my great grandfather. She was married to William Rufus Hedgpeth Sr. You are correct. His father was Micajah Hedgpeth, who was the brother of Samuel (not David). Thanks for pointing that out. Not sure how I made that mistake. Jan

RE: Thackers
Please know that it is the responsibility of her family to order the headstone. It is her family that chose to place her middle name onto the headstone. They must have had a good reason to use her middle name.
What is also important is that this IS her headstone, no matter whether her first or middle gets used.

RE: Thackers
Is it possible she preferred to use her middle name for every day purposes? And her first name for formal records?
