Happily married mother of 3 beautiful red heads! I've been interested in reading obituaries/memorials ever since I was about 8 or 9 years old. My parents were almost 50 at the time and I was worried about them dying and so I would look in the newspaper to see how many people had died younger than them. The fewer there were, the better, in my mind. It seems very silly now, but I was young and didn't understand then that age didn't matter when it came to dying. My dad is now in his mid 80's, alive and still kicking and my mom only recently passed away at 84! I feel very fortunate to have had them around for so long.

I love this website and love to read the memorials and happy that there are people out there who take the time to write them, especially for those that have passed on long ago. They used to be forgotten but not anymore. All lives are precious and deserve to be remembered.

I do not get to any cemeteries much. But when I do, I feel so peaceful there. I often wonder about those resting there, and their stories.
