|Melanie Morris||RE: Transferring Great-grandparents|
Thank You, I really appreciate it. :)
|Virgil & DeAnna Hancock-Cooley||Hopewell Cemetery / Dandridge, Tn|
OK - given I gave up on getting shut eye tonight, I got up to check on your numerous messages coming in after midnight. I see that the problem stems from the Hooewell Cemetery being set up as 1) Hopewell Cemetery 2) Hopewell Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
We drove to the cemetery on numerous occasions and to my remembrance the cemetery sign read simply Hopewell Cemetery. I think I remember seeing it listed in a publication simply as Hopewell Cemetery; however, I could be mistaken.
Meanwhile, I will try to get a positive answer TOMORROW and when I do, I will notify FIND A GRAVE and ask that they merge the two cemetery listings and of course they will delete all duplicates.
Now, may we please get some sleep.

I plan to keep the memorial and advice that you delete yours. I got the picture and put her in the correct cemetery. Findagrave rules state that takes precedence over being first to put one on. Not sure how you put her up. Your were about 7 miles off target.
|Audrey DeCamp Hoffman||David Armentrout|
Thanks for all of your help. David Armentrout is an in-law relative, acquired through marriages. Even so, I want his memorial as correct as possible, and I have made some changes. I am requesting that descendants please leave a flower, with a note. I want to transfer to a Direct descendant.

Thank you so much for the edit. I sent another to you. She is in the wrong cemetery. There are many Stalnaker cemeteries in the area. Easy to do. I hot her grave picture at the one on Beverly, Randolph County. Its called yhe John M. Stalnaker. Her husband and several children are buried there. Would you change it? Very easy. Just hit the burial and type in the correct one and then okay it.
|Philip Conn||Error in E. D. Brimer entry|
My great-grandfather is Elijah David (E. D.) Brimer (1855or1859-1910) who is buried at Shiloh United Methodist Cemetery. He is the youngest brother of William W. Brimer (1836-1920) who is about twenty years older and buried in the same cemetery. In Find A Grave Memorial #17561415 you suggest that this may be the grave of William Brimer's daughter, Emma. I am fairly certain that your information is inaccurate, since my aunts (two of whom are still living) have been visiting this grave of their Grandfather Brimer with older relatives since they were little girls in the 1930s. Please help me to clarify. Feel free to contact me by email at email@example.com. Thank you. Philip Conn
