Travers Cemetery
The photo on the Travers Cemetery find-a-grave site is not the right church. The photo presently shown is the meeting house of Long Prairie Church in Edwards County. I have a photo of the old church, which was called Providence, at the site of the Travers Cemetery.

I don't believe I thanked you for taking a photo of Pauline Franck's grave in Haven Hill Cemetery. I appreciate that you took your time to do that for her and for me. It's so sad that her grave has gone unmarked all these years.

RE: Perry Cemetery
On Find a Grave, it only mentions 21 people buried there. Like a mentioned before, there was a lot of growth there last September. Hard to walk around, plus I think I stepped on some headstones that had fallen over, but couldn't see them. I'll check Mt. Pleasant to see if my GG grandfather is there. It's still a head mystery as to where he's buried at. Thanks, Larry

RE: Perry Cemetery
Hi Jim
I talked to Larry Cowman, the farmer that works that area, and he didn't mention anything about it, though headstones never entered my mind at the time. I'm going to go down there this Spring, when the vegetation is "under control" so to speak. I live 3 hours away north of Olney. I may give Larry a call sometime when I'm ready to go down. Thanks for getting back to me so soon. Larry

Perry Cemetery
Hi Jim, I've had the opportunity to visit this cemetery to visit my great-great grandmother, Sarah McNair 1810-1864, gravesite. This was September 2016. Can you tell me where the old headstones from Otho, Wilson, and Clark McNair graves have gone to? Thanks, Larry J. McNair

Thank you so much for adding the photo and sending me the article. I only knew he died at the 500 race so it was great hearing how he died.

Did the newspaper have a photo of him in his obituary?

I'm currently doing my family side that all lived at Edgar, Illinois (Housel and Craig).

Thank you again for your kindness. Are you possible related?
