I went to the cemetery today and searched and found the location of the grave but there is not a visible marker for Dolan Smith. There were markers for Beason Smith, Rosa Lee Smith, George Dison Smith and Riley Smith.

Hugh Campbell Cemetery - Giles Co. TN
Over a period of years - I have periodically searched for the Hugh Campbell Cemetery near Prospect, TN. Then I pulled up a listing from usgw archives that has the names that you had requested. Then I find that C. Wayne Austin had already photograph all the markers visible and put them on titled Poplar Hill Cemetery - White. Note that the name you requested are not there. I was at the site - it is quite overgrown and the owner, who has cancer, told her neighbor, that yes, someone had already took photos of the stones that remained.
What a mess. Example - Thomas Campbell with a stone is 1862-1940, May Campbell that is there has stone dated 1824-1901.There is no stone for James Campbell or even a Mary Wallace listed.
I don't know where usgw archives got their info. I do know what pictures there are and there are no more. Sorry. I will put web site on requests.

RE: Hugh and Anna Thompson

Hi, Brenda

Just going back over some information, and was noticing that you asked my relationship to Hugh and Anna Thompson. They were my Paternal Great Grandparents. My Grandmother was their daughter, Anna (Nannie) Holloway Thompson.
Hope all is well. Thanks again, Shelley Smith Stoye

I transferred Charlie, Patrick and Maggie to you. I also did their memorials after going out to the cemetery and making pic's of their gravesites. Was it because you weren't sure they were buried at Eastaboga Cemetery that you didn't prepare the memorials ahead of time? Usually people make the memorials and then request pic's. It is easier that way! Let me know if you need anymore transfer!

Sparkman Hillcrest (SH) will not provide burial locations to volunteers, citing privacy issues. Your cooperation is needed to in order for requests to be filled. The volunteers will need you to call SH and request the location. Their phone number is 214-363-5401. Once you have the location, please add it to your request.

You can also go through the SH website at this address:

Click the third tab that says "Other Requests." Fill in the blanks. Where it says: " What is your request in regard to?" use the drop down menu and select "other." In the message put the name and birth and death dates of the person you are looking for and that they are buried at Sparkman Hillcrest in Dallas, Texas. Once SH has replied, add the information to your photo request.

Thank you for your help.

I've setup the requested links for Effie. I'm not related to this family. If you would like a memorial transfer to you let me know.

HI, I don't know if you remember me or not. I created memorials for John Ford Acree and Willie Mae Acree and then transferred them to you. Today I got a very ugly e-mail from Karen Saunders who says these are her grandparents. She is "disgusted and repulsed" that I put the photos of their graves on find a grave. She said I had too much time on my hands and that I should get a job. I explained to her I took volunteer photos for Find a Grave and that I had a request from a family member to transfer the memorials to them. I also explained that and Find a Grave had a goal to record every grave in every cemetery. She wrote back and told me to "go disrespect someone elses family. Oh. You've already done that. " She has my blood boiling.
If you would like to contact her she is
