Bio Photo I live in Shawnee Kansas.
I started doing research on family members and found websites with incorrect information.
Hopefully somehow i can set the record straight on some things by helping document what i find.

Emery Everett King
Hello Donnie, in reply to your question concerning Emery King. My now deceased sister made the memorial. Her widow is Larry Everett Stephenson. I've made a change or two to Sis' info in the bio for Emery, hoping to make it more clear, the connection of the King and Stephenson names. Emery's mother's maiden name was Stephenson. Powhatton Simmons
I am showing that Powhatton Choate was his uncle. It's my understanding that Powhatton Simmons was the son of Powhatton Choate's sister Cathey Choate who married John Edward Simmons. They were both dead by the time Powhatton Simmons was 10 or 11 so he was raised by his uncle Powhatton Choate. Please let me know if you know otherwise. Thanks, Deborah

Bell Cemetery, West Siloam Spgs OK

In case you were wondering, the source for those edits I sent you earlier (there could be more) is: the book "Our People And Where They Rest: subtitled A Visit to 104 Old Cemeteries in Eastern Oklahoma," James W. Tyner, Maxine Tyner and Alice Tyner Timmons, American Indian Institute, University of Oklahoma, Norman, Oklahoma. 1970-1985, Vol I- XII (Library of Congress No. QE99-C5-T97) Many Northeast Oklahoma libraries may have this resource.

You had several relatives there, I think.
