I am so pleased to see the obituary that you added to the memorial for Wm. H. Fowler. I have been working on his mother's descendants for along time and had not come across the obituary. I knew he died between 1900 and 1910, but had not been able to determine a more exact date.
Are you perhaps a descendant of his? If you are I would really like to know your line of descent if you would care to share it>
Thanks for the good genealogical research and keep up the good work.

Could you please sort the pictures to show my Father's (James Perry "Sammy" Feimster) pictures to show his tombstone & foot marker as the first 2 pictures? Or if you prefer my # is 48777398 if you prefer to transfer to me. Thank you, Teresa Feimster Pearson
|Gillian Bagwell||source of info for Agnes Elizabeth Morrison|
I note with interest that you've created a Find-a-Grave memorial for my great-great-great grandmother Agnes Elizabeth Morrison. You list several other family members I know of, but also the names of her parents and grandparents, but the site lists the location of her burial as unknown.
I'd love to be able to verify that these are her parents and grandparents--can you tell me where your information comes from?
Thanks so much!

So glad you were able to correct the information from her death certificate for her. I would appreciate it if you would note on her memorial which facts on her death certificate are incorrect so that someone else will not be confused when they come across her death record. Or at least state that all information listed on her death certificate is not correct. Also, if you would source your added information that would help others, too. I give the source of my information, especially when that information comes from a death certificate/record. Death certificates are the worst for a true record of the person who has died. The information on a death certificate is only as good as the memory and/or knowledge of the informant. Wishing you a great weekend.

I'm so glad you asked for your 3rd Great Grandmother's memorial. It was a pleasure to transfer Lindy's memorial to you. You made my day in the fact that by adding this memorial, I have helped you "find her" after several years of searching for her. I do not know if she has a headstone. The information I used for placing her memorial was from her death certificate which I sourced on her memorial. Find A Grave is a wonderful tool and I enjoy helping others this way. I also am helped in my research by the kindness of others. I hope you will be able to find and link her parents, something I have not been able to do. If you do link Lindy's parents, would you please let me know. Thanks. Suzzette

Thanx for the transfer of the William James Rayson memorial.
Sam was the second husband of my maternal grandmother's oldest sister, Versie Burgin.
Unfortunately, Versie was an alcoholic. The picture I have posted of Sam was courtesy of my grandma's youngest and only surviving sibling, and I know of no other photos of him (he was kind of a hermit). Versie and Sam rarely attended family get togethers.
Versie died before I was born. Sam had purchased 4 burial plots at Forest Hill when his unmarried brother died. He sold one plot to the funeral home to pay for Versie' s funeral expenses, and his surviving nephews and nieces purchased their footstones in summer of 2013.
My surviving great aunt has already given me her photos since I am the family tree keeper for my family. I'll ask my great uncle's wife if she knows of any more pics of Sam. Aunt Dots house was destroyed by fire in the late sixties and my mom's house was destroyed by fire after she graduated high school around the same time, so my photos have come from my aunt Helen. Aunt Frances never took many photos but most of what I have seen of her photos were Polaroid that haven't aged well. Sam showed my dad some of his baseball memorabilia once. Daddy said that was about the only thing you could get him to really talk about.
