John M. Miller b. abt 1843
I can't help but wonder if you, George E. Miller, are a descendant of John M. Miller, born about 1843, in the same area as you must now live. I presume you live in the Muskogee
area. I see your name attached to many of the Wilkerson and other family who lived in that area. John M. Miller was married to Lucy Miller nee Hilderbrand. They lived in the Delaware District of the Cherokee Nation at Needmore, I. T. (Okla). John M. Miller was the guardian for George W. Neff in 1886. I am trying to find more about George W. Neff parents. George W. Neff died bet-1898-1900 in the home of his Aunt, Mary Ann Franklin Amos near New Enterprise Oklahoma. I know this is a long shot but who knows, maybe you can be of help.

Respectfully, Norman E. Neff email

Les Hunter
My Daddy, Leslie Toney Hunter, seems to be missing from quite a few of the trees. Not only on this site but also on others. He is the son of Sim H. Hunter and Francis Elizabeth Miller Hunter.

I found on a geneaology site, Ken-Brock-Vancouver, that someone has listed my sister, Fannie Mae, deceased, as a Hunter, and she was not, she was born to Garmon Blackwood and Martha (my mom) Harmon. They also had a son, Junior Andrew Blackwood, deceased.

Thank you, George Eddie,

Your Cousin, Etta Mae (Ginger) Hunter

Hi. My mom and I will be coming over there next week. Would love your help. You've posted a grave for one of our grandparents.

Robert Hurley Harrison
I am the great granddaughter of Robert Hurley Harrison. I was wondering if you might consider transferring this memorial to me.......

My grandfather, Robert Wayne, isn't listed as a child, and I have other photos I could add to this memorial.

Thanks for your consideration,
Michele Harrison West

Mangus Mayes
George, I just realized that I've been emailing Linda for a few months, exchanging family information. I didn't connect the two of you at first.

RE: Mangus Jolly Mayes
I am related to the Mangus Mayes who was son of Dan (Jasper Alexander) Mayes and Lucy Johnson. He was my grandmother's cousin. I added the picture to his Find A Grave memorial. I do have the original with two more of his cousins, Euell and Travis. (I'm surprised someone didn't get hurt in that picture!) I've been trying to locate Travis's family as I have a baby portrait of him that I can return.

Foreman cemetery
Hi George ----- I sent you an e-mail answering your reply for the directions to the cemetery, but got a message saying my e-mail to you could not be delivered. Not sure what happened there, but thanks for the information concerning directions to the cemetery. When time permits, will visit your area again. I'll send my original msg to you again and see what happens.

Will be interesting to see how the Foreman families are connected. I have Starr's "History of the Cherokee Indians", and I continue to make corrections & notations all the time. Johnson Foreman was a half-brother to my great great grandmother, Malinda Wilson (Collins)(Young). His daughter, Susan Frances Foreman (Raymond)(Lynch) is buried there in Webbers Falls in the Vann-Lynch cemetery.

Thanks again for your help.

William Franklin Miller
Hello, I am just curious if the last name is a coincidence or if you happen to be related to William? He is my biological Grandfather I never met and no one really talked about him so it was so shocking to find him and with a picture as well!
