Bio and Links
Bio Photo I belong to the Lower Wisconsin River Genealogical and Historical Research Center(LWR) out of Wauzeka, WI,(see website link below).
I have always been a graver and I have walked countless cemeteries and have studied the subject for decades. My cemetery interests started when I was maybe 8 years old if not before. I am now in my 60s and live in southwest Wisconsin.
My files are constantly growing and the work continues. I am also big into local history where I live. I will do additions, corrections, link ups and transfers upon request, but PLEASE provide memorial numbers for such services and use the EDIT tab on the memorials for such requests.

The only truly dead are those who have been forgotten.

I am working on a project to identify the last resting places of many "old veterans" of the Civil War, that had ties to Vermont. I am asking you if I may use photo's that you have contributed to their Find A Grave Memorials, to post on the Vermont Civil War site? ( www.vermontcivilwar.org. The ones I have discovered thus far are:Wallace Ladd 88596445;Moody Sawyer 88888562;Allen Taylor 12839746,and John O. Morse 22623706. There may be others that I haven't found yet.
You would receive credit for this, with much appreciation.

RE: Edits
The problem arises when the form is brought up to input linkages and the spousal link shows up with a memorial number in it.... entering parental memorial numbers and pressing submit edit will bring back a response that there is already a linkage for the spouse and will not allow the parental links without removing the spousal link.

RE: Edits
I always try to offer links in that manner, but when I attempt to make parental links and a spousal link appears on the update form, the only way to go forward with the parental links is to delete the spousal link, so I send the parental memorial numbers instead. If you know of a workaround, please let me know.

Carrie is listed as her own mother and as her own child and her kids are listed as her siblings??
I don't know if my edits caused this or not but can you correct this, please. Thank you

#63486919 Dr Louis E. Cowsert
Mrs. Coberley, you posted a photo of a grave marker on Dr. Louis E. Cowsert's Memorial that said Pearl L. Dau of H. & E. Vanetta 1902-1939. Could you please tell me why? Did you error in posting this as I don't see how it pertains to him. I just updated his memorial linking him to his first wife and noticed this photo. Could you please take a look-see. Thanking you for all you do, Kaye Harkins McClintock #47734417

RE: Elizabeth Hughbanks
I have viewed the same films you have for the death records of Crawford County, Wisconsin. There is only one Hughbanks reported to have died on 11 Aug 1898.... "Eligah", a male from gastric ulcers. Further there is no Elizabeth, Lizzie, Betsy, Betty or other derivatives of that given name with the Surname Wayne born within 10 years of 1850 except for Isabella, who was Elijah's second with and died in 1928.

Daniel B. Curtiss # 71890005
Private Daniel B. Curtis was a member of the 2nd Connecticut Heavy Artillery Regiment Company C. He listed his home as Goshen,Connecticut when he mustered in with the regiment on 9/11/1862. The source of this information is from the book The Story of the 2nd Connecticut Heavy Artillery Regiment by Richard W Smith. Thank you for creating the memorial. I am researching the regiment your help has been greatly appreciated. Jim Lawson
