Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing genealogy for over 20 years. The main names I am researching are Abernathy, Coley, Higgins, Howell, Knight, Ledford, Roach, Moss, Whitmore, and Williams.

My other hobby is photography. I take photos of everything from cemeteries to concerts.

If you see any of my photos that are very tiny (ie. the size of a postage stamp), please let me know. Several years ago, the Find A Grave website had a weird glitch that made dozens and dozens of my photos the size of a thumbnail pic. I did not upload these tiny pictures. If you will let me know, I can hopefully replace them with a normal size picture.

Please note that I don't have editorial control over memorials that are listed as famous. If changes or corrections need to be made, please contact the Find A Grave admins.

I have created a website dedicated to my family cemetery, the Old Macedonia Cemetery of Bartow County. You can find it by following the link below.

And please be aware that just because I have taken a cemetery photo, it does not mean that I operate the cemetery or have anything to do with the cemetery. I only took a photograph.

Any photos that were taken by me may be used on genealogy websites such as You have my permission. All I ask is that I am given photography credit.

Old Macedonia Cemetery
Your website for this cemetery is fantastic. A real work of art. Don't know if I have relatives buried there or not, but since you mentioned it, I had to take a look. Good work!!

William Kennedy 8047743
I just added links for William's parents. I found their burial records on line in a 1979 cemetery survey of Kennedy Cemetery done by Leslie F. House.

Gov. Geo. White Baxter
Find A Grave Memorial# 8037520
I was looking at his page and am confused. There is a question about John and Orra Alexander Baxter being his parents and I am trying to clear it up. (I see that FindaGrave now maintains that page.) My question...are you kin? Do you know positively that John Baxter is George's father? Some researchers have his parents as George Washington Baxter and Kitty Alexander -- Kitty is Orra's sister and also one of John's wives. Orra is John's wife #2 and Kitty was wife #3.
If I find anything definitive about a change in parentage I'll contact FindaGrave.

Luthersville City Cemetery
The cem you have the pic of the Luthersville Methodist Church is not called LUMC, it is the Luthersville City Cemetery. The one behind the Post Office is the same one.

Knoxville National Cemetery. Thank you for the picture of the Union Soldiers Statue. If you return to the cemetery, could you snap a photo of his headstone. That would complete all the facts I have gathered on him, he is my 3X Great Grandfather. I thank you very much.

I think we might be related. I believe I have corresponded with you before regarding the Old Roswell Cemetery (I am the President of the Roswell Historical Society). I just now came across a memorial you created in Randolph County, AL. I am taking my mother on a tour of her ancestral cemeteries in July (starting in Chambers Co., AL, then Tallapoosa and finally up to Randolph). Her family lines are Lovvorn, Knight, Hadaway, Jacobs, Strain and Foster. Are you related to any of these lines? Her Knight connection is via Granville Knight Jr. & Sr....Would love to know if you are located near any of these AL cemeteries and I am trying to map our route and determine where some of the burials are in the larger cemeteries - I can't see is walking a 4000 grave cemetery in late July for very long ;)

A. B. Taylor
I am related to James Bryant Taylor. First, where did you get this picture of A B Taylor and do you know any more about him other than he was the mayor of Memphis at one time. I just wonder if he is related to my James Bryant Taylor....

thanks for your time
