Also working on The Adams family from Chemung County New York.
Just ask and I will add any info if it is correct. I will be glad to Transfer any memorial to you as long as they are not in my direct family!

Still searching for the graves of JOHN STUDSTILL born 1800 and died after 1850 in the Lowndes County area. Also his wife Nancy Studstill who died abt the same time and in the same area.I am looking into The Dampier family in South Georgia. I am looking hard for James W. Dampier born abt 1824 and died around 1880 in Clinch County Georgia. He was married twice and lived in Brooks County Ga for a while.
With the vast amounts of Studstill Info I have gathered I published a book in 2010 about the family. The book is called "The Shaping of a Studstill". The book is currently avaliable for the public at the Andalusia Public Library in Andalusia Alabama, Brooks County Library in Quitman Georgia, Ocmulgee Regional Library in Eastman, Randolph County Library in Cuthbert Georgia, and The Odom Family Research Center in Moultrie Georgia.
The website link below will take you to the STUDSTILL family Facebook page.

Looks like the wrong headstone is on this memorial. Can you remove it?

Thanks for the info, Jason.

Jason, do you happen to have the location of the Israel Family Cemetery in Sumter County, GA? I see where you have made photos in this cemetery. Thanks, Ken Mitchell

If you will look in the Hardy-Seay-Dunwoody folder in Stewart Co. you will find the contributor who is a Miller. I located his Stewart Co. ancestors for him. He has done extensive research on the south Ga. Millers and may be related to you.

There are indeed two West Cemeteries. The one on Paper Co Land is William West and the other is Mary West. I can't remember if William West has a fence, Mary West has as you can see in the Mary West photos. Mary West is on private land owned by the local Fort Family. It would be sort of hard to find also.
|Bobby Williams||RE: Actually|
All in same fenced cemetery. Company I worked as a forester for was Georgia Kraft when I started. Then became Mead Corporation many years later. Mead then merged with Westvaco and it became MeadWestvaco. After I retired they merged with Rock-Tenn. I think it's still the same.

This is on Paper Company land in a remote location. There are woods roads only leading to it. Would be very difficult to locate even with GPS. I think there is a locked gate belonging to a hunting club at the entrance to the first road.
I retired after 43 years with the Paper Co. that originally owned it. Not sure who the present owner is.
