I live in the Williamsburg, Va area. Building my personal family tree got me started with old family cemeteries a few years ago. As my tree has swelled I have been travelling to many cemeteries in Virginia recording the tombstones of siblings, spouses, children, etc of my line. Most of my work is in the Brunswick and Buckingham County areas of Virginia. Feel free to contact if you want one of the local or family cemeteries in those areas recorded digitally. I have a good set of USGS maps and a good gps so I don't mind hunting around for a cemetery. I have extensive genealogical information on many families of Buckingham and Brunswick and always enjoy helping others with their research. I am also available to help with family tree research in James City and York Counties in Virginia. Do not hesitate to inquire.

Digges cemetery at Bellfield Plantation
Thank you for posting the photos of the Digges Cemetery. We're descendants and were able to walk to the cemetery the other day. We could barely see the memorials as the weeds and grass were so high. Do you know if family members get together from time to time to clean the cemetery?

I see you manage this you know anything about her other than what appears on this memorial? She is my 9th great-grandmother; some of my info is a little iffy, so hoping to clarify. Kathy

Wondering exactly where this cemetery is? It says Centenary, VA.

Do you know the history of this cemetery? Curious that it has only two people buried in it. Was it previously on their property? Are there any other stones or burials there?

Percival Love Drummond - Barnes Cemetery, Brunswick Co, VA
I believe the dates shown on this memorial are in error. Mr. Drummond's Virginia Death Certificate shows that he died in 1928 and that he was born in 1858. Are the dates taken from the stone of from cemetery records. If he in fact died in 1911, then the children listed on the memorial couldn't be his.

Sil Winfrey
I just saw where you maintain Sil Winfrey site at Woodlawn Cemetery in Timpson, Texas. Just curious, were you related to the Winfreys in Timpson. Sil father was well known in Timpson as he published the local paper for over 50 years.....sad he lost Sil, Jr. in WWII. as his parents had three children Two died young and Sil, Jr was KIA during WWII.
