I use Find A Grave as a research tool to connect family members of Families related to my Foster Surname and related Surnames. Foster , Minnick, Markland, Davis, Combs, Markland, Myers, Rumbley Zimmerman, Orrell, Tucker . Also the surnames from my mothers side of the Family Braswell, Ratcliff / Ratliff, Henson / Hinson, Diggs / Degge, Myers, Pistol / Travis, Boyette / Boyet,Keen, others . My wifes family surnames Rice , Franklin, Wallin, Shelton, Tweed, Sevier , Chandler and others.
I believe in linking family members with the tools given to us in the Edit Tab Section. Many of my memorials are created by finding the burial Locations listed on Death Certificates.

No, the Smith/ Rice cemetery.That cemetery has around 30 people with no tombstones and I am told there are several Rices. I found part of the people and we own the land.
I can't photograph the John Rice cemetery due to it being grown up really bad. Snakes and bees probably too. There are a few Tombstones but I had word of mouth on who is buried there that I listed from a reliable source. I asked my husband but must wait till someone cleans it off if they ever do. I put great instructions as to its location if you want to take a look with your weedeater bush cutter etc equipment but you need permission to go on the land from both ways. I know the people and can go when I like. Maybe this winter when it not so cold and the undergrowth has been killed some.

Thank you for the info. Somehow I missed Willard. You certainly sorted out an intriguing and complex situation.

|Ruth ||Glendon Monroe Foster|
Thank you for sending me the names of the parents of Glendon Monroe Foster, Memorial # 116687064. The names I have on the memorial are the names that were listed on the death certificate (as transcribed by FamilySearch). I have added a notation in the memorial with the information you gave me for the names of his parents. If you know where the parents are buried, please send me the information and I will link Glendon to his parents. Thanks!

|Judy church||James Foster Jr.|
Hi Bill, on Elsie Foster's memorial where her children are listed,you have noted that James Foster Jr. is married to Anne Torrentine.
However on your Ancestry family page, she is noted as married to James M. Foster. Do you believe James Foster Jr. to be the same person as James M. Foster? I would very much like to find the James Foster who is father to William Denny. The guardianship papers prove it is not James M. Foster.
Do you think it is possible that we are dealing with 2 separate Torrentine women one named Anne and perhaps a sister named, Sarah. I have found no proof of this. the marriage license and Denny's death certificate just do not match up. So it remains a question.
Thank you for your thoughts and help, Judy Church
|Amanda Hoyle||Kennedy "CAN" Foster Jr|
CON was the name on Charlotte's death certificate so that's how I spelled it. Thanks for the additional info. Do you know where Kennedy is buried, I would like to link them?

Have you interest in the AL or GA Fosters?
|Judy church||Thomas L. Foster|
Hi Bill, I think this is a duplicate for Thomas Foster #141369803. She does not have his wife's name. But has some good pictures. Maybe the two sites need to be combined. Just though you would want to check it out. Thanks Judy
