Bio Photo I seem to have a propensity for finding lost cemeteries, and just end up literally stumbling upon them in my travels. When I do find them, I research them and put what I find up here for the benefit of others---such as with the Phil'a Boys Protectory Cemetery.

An archivist by profession, I am quite good at finding those hidden records, so if there is anything you have interest in, do let me know and I shall endeavor to find you an answer. And if you need my sources/would like more information, do not hesitate to ask!

Should you desire to have the management of a grave transferred to your control, I will be happy to oblige.

Pvt George Grant Memorial # 132272555 in Almshouse Cemetery
I would like to know the source of the information you posted about Pvt George Grant. His victim Amanda Harvey Spence was my great-great-great aunt and through his wife Mary he was Amanda's nephew-in-law. I will get copies of his military records now that I know he was in the 54th Massachusetts Co. B.

RE: Pennsbury-Pocopson African Union
Thank you for all that you have contributed to Find-a-Grave. Your efforts are very much appreciated. I wouldn't have even found that this cemetery location existed if I weren't searching Find A Grave for local photo requests to do my part for the Ancestry/Find A Grave meet-up, next month.

Pennsbury-Pocopson African Union
According to the Find A Grave map, and Google maps, this cemetery appears to be set back off of the road, on private, residential property. Any guidance on dealing with a photo request in a private property situation such as this? Also, how on earth did you discover this cemetery? Good F.A.G. detective work!

RE: Rachel Hutton
I found a record from New Garden and posted it, it mentions her birth date... I removed her date of passing and noted in Bio why and what i do know of her from records... she got in a bit of trouble, as she was seen in the company of a married man, who was not a Friend.... I will search for her tomorrow under the birth year of 1788 and surname of Bernard and see what turns up.

Ancestry Posting
This is from Ancestry.... I may have thought this was verification of where she was "Bu" (buried)

Rachel Hutton

Historical Meeting Data: Search for this monthly meeting in the 'Quaker Monthly Meetings Index'

This a example of how Ancestry has to be looked at all the time for error as well ;)

I just found the Kennett record you may have been referencing and I need to take a REALLY good look, as I may have thought "Cu" was "Bu"..... please pass on what you find, I would rather delete than have wrong information out there.

I am grateful you wrote and also try to be accurate as possible, as I know FindaGrave gets picked up as a source.... I am cutting and pasting your note below :)

I think you may be misinterpreting the records youre viewing. In this case, the record of Kennett MM from which you pull this says she departed for New Garden MM -- that does not mean she died on that date; rather, it means she transferred to that meeting, having moved etc.

I have no doubt you are correct about me not being clear or even having errors, but I didnt get the information from Kennett MM, but from New Garden... I now put the source of my entries in the note section..... I dont see where the departed for is on this memorial.... maybe one of the others you looked at that I need to address?
In Appreciation ....
