RE: Elizabeth Atkins #69084446
Just working on Elizabeth Macy Atkins, wife of Alden Butler Atkins. She was a daughter of Jonathan Macy & Elizabeth Polk, both also buried in the Sterling Cemetery. Thanks. Bill

Her maiden name was Macy and she is on the same stone as her husband, Alden Butler Atkins. Thanks of letting me copy the photo. Bill.

Oh I'm sorry to hear that. I was hoping they would say the stone must be buried . . . and I figured from the numbers plugs on the ground that he is next to Maude Akers. If you enlarge the photo, you can tell that is Maude on the left edge of the photo. I created a memorial for her.

I will add the photo to his wife's memorial.

I hope you have better luck next time.

Regards,

B.J.

Hello. I am about to fulfill your photo request but unfortunately, it is a photo of the area, only. I believe his grave is unmarked, unless by some remote chance it is buried under the sod. If you want, you can call the office and ask if there is supposed to be one, and confirm who he is buried next to if they tell you there is no marker.

Sorry this was not a more positive outcome. I am always disappointed when there is no marker.

Best regards,

B.J.

Hello,

I saw that HHB is your GG grandfather, is that correct?

Many years ago, I purchased a memorial card for him at a Cincinnati antique store. I'd like to get it back to his direct descendents.

Thanks!

RE: Re: Hazel Cropp Alford at Valhalla
Hi Carolyn,

I will be going to Valhalla this Friday and I will get a picture of the area and add the gps coordinates. I think it's a fine idea to do so. While she did not have a family of her own, she is part of a family. You are right, future generations may seek her out and because of you she'll be found.

Warmly,
Sabrina

Really appreciate your help in facilitating my ability to fulfill your request!
Would you like a picture of the area where she is buried and gps coordinates added to her memorial page?

Sabrina
