Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been diligently working on family tree data now for more than 25 years . . . and have just scratched the surface as a researcher. Initially I focused on our four family surnames: Keller, Galey, Evans and Doan(e), but have added additional surnames of family and friends. is an ideal and unique repository for historical information AND photos, thanks to all its contributors!

Dudley Phillips in Belton Cemetery
Thank you for checking in the Belton Cemetery for the tombstone photo I requested for Dudley Phillips.

The family Bible says that both Dudley and his wife, Ollie Juley HOLMAN Phillips, are buried there. Dudley's Death Certificate shows he died at Wellington in Lafayette County, Missouri. The death certificate shows "Place of burial - Belton, MO".

I know that their daughter, Tempia Ann PHILLIPS Speir Hunter is buried in the Belton Cemetery and has a tombstone. Tempia is my great-grandmother. She's buried in Row M, Lot 10, along with her 1st husband, John S. Speir, and some of his family. I would think that Dudley and Ollie would be close to Tempia, but don't know for sure.

Can you tell me if there are graves marked with stones that have no writing on them?

Thanks again for checking at the cemetery.

RE: Meyer L. Grojean Grave Stone
Hello Jim,
Thought you would like to know, we checked Meyer L. Grojean's grave and found that they have now added a nice grave stone. We took a picture and have replaced the one we put on Find A Grave earlier of just the small funeral home maker.
To make sure you get this information we are also sending this to your e-mail address with a copy of the photo.

Helen Smith
Hi Jim, I claimed your request for this marker at Washington Park East Cemetery. Today when I went to the location I found a double marker for Connie Lee Smith (1912-1992) in KA, Lot 17C, Space 1 and Margie Smith (1921-no DOD) in Space 2. Can you tell me if Margie & Helen are one in the same? Thanks.
