Just a friend!|
Please understand that I have no control over the names, words and dates engraved on stones, written on death certificates or provided in obituaries. I didn't write them. I'm only providing those previously written words to you.
I have been an active contributor on this site for over 15 years, so yes it stands to reason that I have a fair number of memorials that I have entered, added to and lovingly care take even though they may not be a branch of my own family. It's quite possible that if I had not entered the memorial to begin with, you may not have been able to find them.
Individuals using this site need to realize that we are all volunteers and do not need to deal with abusive behavior or rudeness just because we won't make a transfer to someone who has registered two days or two months ago and want every memorial on the site with the surname of Jones. Or a transfer of a memorial of someone who they think just might be a fifth cousin, four times removed of their third ex-husband.
If you are new to this site, PLEASE read the "Frequently Asked Questions" located "HERE". If you take just a moment to familiarize yourself with these guidelines, it will definitely help yours and everyone else's state of mind, blood pressure and headaches. Just a hint, most people will not respond to your liking when bullying tactics are used.
If you will please use the "Edit" tab located on each memorial, I will be more than happy to correct, edit or add information to a memorial that is meaningful. I will not add all of the information from the past ten census records that have been released or any distasteful or disturbing messages.
Please be kind. We all make mistakes from time to time. If I have made a mistake or created a duplicate memorial later than one you have created, please use the "Edit" tab and send me the correction or let me know of the duplication and it will be taken care of quickly.
I will make transfers using the "Guidelines" if they are not a relative of mine. I will transfer your children, siblings, parents, grandparents or great-grandparents. All other requested transfers will be considered if you use the "Edit" feature and state your relationship or intended need for the memorial.
Lastly and most importantly, there are so many absolutely wonderful people that use Find-A-Grave! I am very appreciative for all of the suggested corrections, additional information and photos that have been provided. Please don't allow the rude, abusive and sometimes rather bizarre behavior of individuals to curb your enthusiasm or your want to help others.

|Samuel Taylor Geer||Edward Everett transfer|
Thank you the transfer. I appreciate it very much.

I know the one I have is correct. There was 2 Roy L white's born around the same time and state. There was a Roy Leonard White and a Roy Lynn White. And someone had to correct me that I had the wrong Roy L. White on there family tree on familysearch. Because they were married to Roy Leonard White. After further research they were correct. My wife's Grandfather was Roy Lynn White.

|David Castillo||Mae Bella Youngblood|
I visited the Lockehill Cemetery today and found the grave of Stella Youngblood, but not that of Mae Bella Youngblood.
Thank you for transferring the memorial for Mrs Retta and thanks for all of your contributions in the Findagrave site.

|Misty and Robert H.||Lucille June LaPrade|
I was researching a husband for Lucille because I had made a memorial for her in January 2013 and I noticed that you had made a memorial for her in November 2013. Since I already have her family linked on mine, is is possiable if we can combine the two memorials so my info is still linked, but her husband is linked to mine? Thanks.

Mrs. Retta (#79591837) was godmother in my family and I would like to manage the memorial in her name. Can you please transfer the memorial to me (#47432815). Thanks for your contributions. sandysea

|Martha Collins||James Wallace Collins|
Just wanted to say thank you for entering the information for James Wallace Collins. He was my Great Grandfather and I've just added a picture of his headstone. I appreciate the work you've done. I'm just starting to be a contributor as well. I think it's a great thing. It's allowed me to find information on the Collins ancestors without having to travel to Illinois and beyond. Again, Thank you so much.
I know you are busy, but I didn't know if you had received my message about transferring Heinrich Wagner 48892490 and his wife Wilhelmina Santleben to me, I know it falls one generation outside the four generation, but I have been researching them for many years and had the photo and information but never joined findagrave til after it was posted.
It would mean so much to me,
Thank you, Brian Rick 48651109
