I enjoy doing genealogy for my family as well as that for my husband. We would love to hear from other McDonald, Peake, or Dahlstrom relatives! We would also love to find a picture of Susan McDonald, who is my husband's gg grandmother.

Kathy, Thank you so much for posting this cemetery marker for my husband's 3rd great grandfather, Green Berry Mitchell! What a treasure! Tears actually came to my eyes when I saw it! Would you mind if I posted it on my online family trees? Again, thank you, so much, for taking time to hike through cemeteries to photograph such treasures for others!
Sincerely, Finn Kin Gal, #47065760

RE: Dr. Humphrey Peake
I am not directly related to Dr. Humphrey Peake. Joanne and I are related to Humphrey's brother Henry (Harry) Peake who married Susan Moffett i 1799 and Isabella Henning in 1812. We also share the same gg-grandfather Wm. Oscar Peake who married Mary Ellen Sydnor and then Joanne's and my family split with two sons born to them. Her branch went onto OK and mine eventually to CA. Dr. Oscar was killed in Mississippi and Mary is buried in the Wolfe Cemetery, MO. She (& Oscar?) donated land and formed Peakeville, MO.
