I am glad to make corrections and additions to memorials I manage – YOU MUST USE THE EDIT TAB on the memorial page to make your request. |
Let me restate this in another way: ONLY EDITS SUBMITTED VIA THE EDIT TAB ON THE MEMORIAL PAGE WILL BE MADE.
I welcome your use of my photos in your personal research. HOWEVER, IF YOU ARE COPYING MY PHOTOS TO ANOTHER INTERNET WEBSITE (SUCH AS ANCESTRY.COM), PLEASE CREDIT ME AND THE FIND-A-GRAVE WEBSITE.
I am of the opinion that genealogical documents are more appropriately posted on other venues and would appreciate that they not be posted on my cemetery memorials. I kindly thank you in that regard.

|Thomas L. Harman||Re: John Otis Tyree|
Thank you for the message pertaining to John Otis Tyree.
He went by Otis, so as not to be confused with his father, John Lucas Tyree. (my g-grandfather.)
There are no records listing his full name, unless it was written in the Tyree family Bible, which I have not been able to view.
John Otis Tyree was an older brother of my grandmother, Retha Opal Tyree Riddle. When I started my family research, my mother, Helen Marie Riddle Harman provided me with Otis' full name.

Thanks so much for the crisp and beautiful photo at the burial place of Thomas Gerald Thorpe. You prompted me to go back and update several family relationships. I like nothing better than to see links to all the children...in this case I'm talking about William Thompson Thorpe and Mary Elizabeth Conner Thorpe (Thomas Gerald's grandparents). Once edits are approved, all their children will be shown. Best wishes to you!
