I posted the photo for Elvera. Right now there is a temporary marker in place until the permanent headstone is placed.

I went to Evergreen Cemetery and had one of the workers go with me just to be sure, Sorry the is not a maker for this person.

You're welcome, Colleen. Glad to help. There are more unmarked graves than you may think. Often due to the family not being able to afford them or maybe they were the last in a family line.

Collen, thanks for the offer, but I'm good as is
|JP||Hazel B McArthur|
I put the link for her marriage to Earl Westcott (and yes it does work) but here is the one for Gordon Westcott.

I was working the Hazel B McArthur file and I had a link come up from Social Security that connected Hazel with Gordon Westcott (Find A Grave Memorial# 18678) and a daughter, Helen Westcott (Find A Grave Memorial# 17230136.
It is: http://search.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/sse.dll?indiv=1&dbid=60525&h=11165602&ssrc=pt&tid=81571559&pid=270005414026&usePUB=true
Not sure if it will work, but it's worth a shot.
If not, let me know and I'll send it through my email.

I will enter Frank Baker 12/1859-he was the son of Isaac Baker and Mary Markle-any chance they are in your tree-he was married to Louise
I took the photo for Laura McGucken today at Oak Hill Memorial Park, San Jose, Ca. Unfortunately there are no headstones in her Block. There is only grass where she is buried. I posted the picture on her page.

|JohnF||RE: More Bakers|
Another Baker family we came across in Mount Peace was:
Frank Baker, 1897-1898
Sarah Baker, 1832-1916
Bartholomew Baker, 1862-1950
S. Emma Baker, 1869-1956
Mabel K Baker, 1902-1960
Thomas B. Baker, 1901-1980
Sarah Baker, 1899-1993
Ralph Baker, 1898--1974
There is a stone.
In another lot was William E.S. Baker, 72, 1942 and Martha M. Baker, 79, 1947. Burial records show Marshalls and Newitts in the lot also. I wasn't looking for this stone and didn't take a picture. Burial records Show a Liddie G. Baker, age 36, buried 1881 in a lot with Jeffries and Fosters. No stone noted.
We looked for the stone in the 4/11/2012 photo request for William and Mary in lot 123, which is F-123. We could not locate any stone there.
I hope all of this helps with your Baker family research. - JohnF

|JohnF||RE: Thanks again|
We came across one stone that simply says BAKER. I looked up the burial records for the area around where I thought it to be. There are Bakers and Bells in what appears to be back to back lots. I see two Bakers in those lots. One is Earnest Baker, age 29, buried 1950, "war casualty". The other is Earnest Edward Baker, age 56, buried 1942. There is a stone listed for Earnest Edward.
I'll look up the other one later and send another message. - JohnF
