There is a special place in my heart for the Moore, OK tornado victims and for the whole town. My husband and I lived in Moore and Norman in 1989-1992. Our only child was born there during that time.
My husband's niece's husband, Mark Byrd passed away Aug. 15, 2014. He was 41 years old.
My niece's husband, Aric Fleury passed away Jan. 31, 2012. He was 26 years old. It breaks my heart. I'm sure my mom is taking very good care of him!!
My mother, Marie Wolf Doll Lemesany, passed away May 18, 2011. I miss her so much!
My father-in-law, Ewell "Gene" McGowan passed away Sept. 22, 2010.
My brother, Steve passed away July 30, 2008. It was on our mother's 82nd birthday. She was never the same after he passed away. They are together now.
My step-father, Richard Lemesany was one in a million!! He married my Mom when I was almost 13. We only had him for a little over 10 years but he made our lives so much better while he was with us.
My father, Louis Doll, Jr., passed away in 1971 when I was 6 years old. Researching his side of the family has been a challenge. He was born in Monument, Liberty Township, Centre, PA. His parents were from Munson, Clearfield Co., PA. He was raised in Wharton, Morris Co., NJ, and was stationed at Camp Carson (now Fort Carson) in Colorado Springs when he met my mother in Dec. 1946. She was born in St Charles, MO and was raised in Colo. Spgs., CO. My mom was Miss Camp Carson in 1945.

|Donna Meinscher Plessala Estes||RE: Virgie May Morrison Green-17968826|
In regards to to your question as to "Virgie's" full name. She was the mother of my Uncle Garland, who was married to my dad's sister. We were caregivers for him after my aunt died as they had no children. We knew her birth name was Mary Virginia, but she was called Virgie, per my uncle. BUT Garland's US Social Security Application & Claims, Index 1, 936-2007, lists name as Mary V, and his father as George A. You will just have to hopefully believe me when I tell you her real name was Mary Virginia, and I too have not a clue as to where the "May' came from. ~~ Donna

Yes I have it. I am starting to restore it. My parents & I spent many days visiting them.

George & Ann were very good friends of us. I bough his 1935 Chevy. He was my bus driver when I was in school. I put flowers on his grave every year.

Yes, I do understand what you are looking for. Due to the years of his birth and death, I have been unable to find actual birth and death certificates. The only way to find the dates is through various census records and Death information from Ancestry. I have checked against his Father's Ancestry census records and where he was living at specific times and it confirms the locations of where Benjamin was born and died. I am not requesting changing the dates that are already on his Find A Grave page, just adding to his birth and death locations. I have been researching for some time and would not make a suggestion if I did not have some various sort of proof and as many records of that long ago are scarce, I would assume what I have submitted so far would be sufficient.

His place of birth was Albemarle, Virginia, NOT Amherst, Virginia. His Father was Benjamin as well as shows him living in Albemarle until around 1820 when he moved to Barren Cty, Kentucky. I am unable to copy and paste from my Ancestry records to show this.

My request for the middle name of Drake comes from research my great grandmother (Francis McCauley Johnson) did on the McCauleys in the 1930s. She was part of the McCauley cemetery dedication in 1938 and her notes from that event included that grandchildren of Sylvia and Matthew J.W. McCauley were in attendance. I have a photocopy of a handwritten letter from one of the grandchildren that lists the generations starting with Sylvia where it lists her middle name as Drake.
