RE: Peggy Adams
Bennie, before you assume that someone is not buried in a cemetery because there is not a marker, I have 2 great-grandparents that are in this cemetery without head stones. I certainly would not make threats and have names removed. You better not have one of my family members removed simply because there isn't a marker! Concerning Peggy Adams, I thought this was removed last year. It has been deleted.

Ted Welch
Bennie, thank you so much for your photograph of Ted's marker! You have no idea how much I appreciate your time and effort. People like you make Find a Grave great.

Thanks again, and I will be in touch about Ed's marker when it comes in.

Thanks for the cemetery photo of Louise Henderson. I really appreciate it. You said you added a photo of Helen Workman to findagrave but I didn't see a new one. Do you have one with her death date of 2014 on it? Anyway, I thank you again for taking and posting the photo of my cousin Louise Henderson.

Take care,

RE: Edward Welch
OK, Bennie, after much pulling of hair today, I finally have some answers on Ed and Ted Welch! You have no idea how much I appreciate your checking for me.

We misunderstood about Ted's burial. I thought he was buried in Shawmut next to Ed, but he is buried in Fairfax Cemetery. He is buried by Ila Leigh Berry # 30547370, his sister's daughter. His marker is in place. You made Ila's memorial; thank you.

Ed's marker still has not come in. His daughter has an appointment with the VA in two weeks to see if the VA can give her a timeline. He was really proud (rightly so) of his military service and wanted a military marker. If one never arrives, we will buy our own. I had no clue that a year and five months later we'd still be trying to get the marker.

I apologize for sending you on a wild goose chase. Again, I appreciate all your help so much. We live in west Texas and just can't get there easily to check on things!

Thanks again, GJ

RE: Edward Welch
Hi, Bennie. This is a follow-up on the Edward Welch memorial in Shawmut cemetery. I believe his military marker has been placed now. Supposedly it came in earlier, had some kind of an error, and was replaced. His son Ted's marker also came in and should be in place now. I'm going on second hand information and hope I'm correct. If you are ever near the cemetery, I would really appreciate your checking for me!

Thanks again, GJ

RE: Estelle Simpson
I don't think she had another name. Too bad Alabama death certificates are not online or we might have an answer. She's probably there but I don't like to guess at things like that. Thanks for taking time to look again, especially in this hot weather!!
