Just a quick note to everyone. Sorry for delays in responding or making changes. I'm going through a nasty divorce and haven't been able to spend much time on FindAGrave recently. Rest assured I will catch up on everything soon! Thanks for your understanding!
Hi! I have been filling photo requests and adding memorials for cemeteries near where I live in Connecticut, to help others with their research, and to preserve a record of the older stones before they are unreadable and/or get damaged by age, weather, or vandalism.
I have completely photographed many cemeteries in Hebron, Gilead, Amston, Marlborough, Bolton, Andover, Columbia, Lebanon, Colchester, Glastonbury, and East Hampton (all in Connecticut) and have been steadily working on getting them all posted. Please put in any photo requests you have...I may already have the photos, but just haven't posted them yet.
Photo Use Permission
Feel free to use my photos in your personal research and please consider this permission to post my photos on Ancestry and other websites. It would be appreciated if you would credit me and Find A Grave, mainly so that you will have a source citation and so that others can trace it back to get more info. Something like "Photo credit: K Carlini (KC) - Find A Grave" would be wonderful! Thanks for your consideration, and I hope I've helped with your family research! :)
Corrections, Additions and Transfers
Please use the "edit" tab if you have additions or corrections to send to me, or if you would like a memorial transferred to you in cases where you are a direct relative and have extensive changes to make. In any case I'm always happy to add bios and further documentation as I want memorials to be as helpful and accurate as possible!
Virtual Cemetery and Surnames
I am related to most of the people in my virtual cemeteries. Some of the surnames I am researching: (north-east) Manchester, Macomber, Pettey, Tripp, Devoll, Rutter, Waltham, Gray, Briggs, Brownell, Corey/Cory, Soule/Sowle, Wodell/Wardell, Lake, Allen, Snell, and (southern) Stevenson, Childs, Chancellor, Garner, Sledge, McGinty, Reavis, Shaw, Miller, Sikes, and Boren. I'm especially interested in old photos of my ancestors and cousins. Please ask if you want more info or want to share. I'm always glad to help and always happy to hear from cousins!

Thank you for your hard work regarding the descendant line of my ancestral uncle Capt. Joseph Wright, Jr. and his wife Mary Dudley, the maternal granddau. of my ancestors. However, there are some necessary minor edits, which I will send via individual suggestions versus auto corrections.

His wife, Ruth Naomi Caye, was a second cousin of my maternal grandfather, in our Renshaw family. I'm still working my way through my list of transfer requests, and will then start on the Bios. He'll have one sent via SAC eventually--the Renshaws are family #17 out of my 32 families with possible fifth cousins, and 70% of what I've found to date is on my father's side, so I'm guessing that it'll be a year or more getting back around to the Renshaws.

Thanks so much for accepting the parental connection for Judah Strong to his parents Deacon David Strong & Thankful (Loomis).
It's great to make those connections as they have many descendants who can find them now.

Hi, You took a picture of this grave marker. The name Lawton is also on the marker. Do you know who that would be? Can you email a picture of their stone or marker. I think it may be my Aunt Julia's daughter Mary.
Hi, I noticed you questioned whether he did Revolutionary War service. I found this summary on fold3.com:
In short, yes, he did.

Hi Karen, just a big Howdy from your Southern cousin

Thank you for your message. Don't worry about looking at your photos; it can wait. I copied the photo to my computer just to enlarge it and it really does look like "delived". That's a word I've never heard, but who knows, maybe it was a common word in 1751.

Hi, are you related? I found 2 of their children in Spring Grove Cemetery in Ohio. Amasa West #79069182 and her brother Cyrus #79069211. I have submitted the edits to have them linked to their parents. When I return I will try to get better photos.
Townsend Cemetery Andover, Ct
I know where the real headstone for Captain Obadiah Newcomb is. What is posted is I assume a memorial stone. His headstone is not in a cemetery. If we can make private email contact I will explain.

You have posted a beautiful photo of my 6x great grandmother Ruth (Chapwell) Peters' gravestone
(https://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=34625265). Thank you so much for your graciousness in allowing others to copy your photos and even post them on their family trees on various genealogy websites. You definitely will be credited for your generosity and kindness.
I do have a question about this gravestone. I have tried to transcribe it and am stuck on one word in the third line from the bottom: "...who Lived D _ _ _ _ _ _ & died Lemented by Mr william peters & her Children." It looks like Delived to me; do you have any idea what it might be? Thanks for any suggestions.
