Melvin
Are you familiar with the Melvin families? Or could you put me in contact with someone who is. I am very confused about Cirmiles H Melvin, Cornelius Melvin anad carmeles H Melvin. Are they the same person or were there twins born on Jan 25, 1879? I am trying to sort this out for my nephew, who is a Melvin, descended from on of these gentlemen. And he, whichever one he is, married two sisters: Grace E and Annie L Arthur. Or are they two twin brothers, who married sisters? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Kuhner Cemetery
Kay ,

Kuhner Cemetery ( Harrison Township , Scioto County Ohio ) was located in a wooded area at the east end of Meade - McNeer Rd. It is also known as Yeley Cemetery . All ( 3 ) Stones were broken and hard to find , there is no path or fence around the Cemetery . according to the Cemetery Archive Book at the Portsmouth Public Library . back on April 15 , 1878 , Volunteers went to the cemetery and recorded the inscriptions at the time , most of the inscriptions were in German and they translated them the best they could .

The " tops " of ( 2 ) other stones were later unearthed and copied to the best of there ability , since neither one of them understands German - M. & V. Ramsey .

recently , the Genealogy Society , it was brought up to try to locate the Cemetery , however it has been said that the Cemetery has been lost or destroyed . This really upset me because I have direct ancestors buried there .

I will update you if or when , the Gemealogy Society follows up on locating the Cemetery , however by what I am hearing , the Cemetery may be at a loss.
