|My husband, Mike and I have been doing research for over 30 years. Lots of walking cemeteries for photos, lots of courthouse research & library research. The computor age has now made it a little easier but still lots of research done through traveling and the same way we did it before.|
Being a photo volunteer for and helping others with their memorial's is a true blessing to us.

This is my GG grandfather. Do you have any info about his Civil War record?

Hi Vera, just wondering if you are related to Dempsey F. Williams son of Richard H. and Nancy Smith Williams?
If so, just thought I'd mention that Dempsey and Isaac's older brother
was my great-grandfather John W. Williams, listed in 1850 census with parents; however he is not in the 1860 census with his mother's brother W. W. Smith and family. John W. Williams was on his own by then since he was 18 or 19 by the 1860 census. John died in Callahan Co., TX about 1904 (have his death certificate but have to dig it out to get the exact year).
W. W. Smith had custody of Dempsey Fred Williams, a sister whose name I would have to look up in the 1860 census, and Isaac H. Williams.
Thx for maintaining Dempsey's page.

|H. Phil Kennedy||Frank Paul "Whick" Bruce|
Hi Vera, In researching the Lilley side of my family I have found your 2/7/2011 memorial 65299231 for Frank Bruce buried at Meade Cemetery, Oklahoma
There is also a Frank Paul "Wick" (different spelling) Bruce memorial 75272994 put up by "Timeless Spirits" but this shows to be in Highland Cemetery, Durant Oklahoma.
Timeless does not have an email address and the message board is not open, thus I cannot contact him/her.
Please don't take offense at this question but have you been to the Meade Cemetery and saw the grave for Mr. Bruce? Actually, I am quite sure he is there because his daughter Mary Jo Bruce Lilley and her husband Calvin Eugene Lilley (my cousin) are also buried there.
Neither memorial has a grave marker photo so I am kinda stuck if you cannot help.
Thanks so much,,,,,,, Phil Kennedy

I would like to ask your permission to use your pictures and memorial pages on the Billingsley Family for my family tree.
He would be my 2nd cousin 3 times removed.

On her memorial, #20970620, James Jasper Lance also had another wife, Mary Prater Lance, #18422493 - she's buried along side James Jasper Lance.
Would you mind adding her?

I am a vermont Civil War buff, and am working on a project to identify the last resting places of many of our "old Soldiers" that had Vt. ties. John Wallace is one such patriot. May I use the photo that you contributed to his Find A Grave memorial, to post on the Vt. C.W.Site? ( www.vermontcivilwar.org).
You would receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration.
