Bio and Links
Bio Photo Family research has been a part of my life for over 30 years. I do volunteer work at the LDS Family History Center located in my neighborhood even though I am not Mormon. I call myself the gentile librarian. I live on the west side of Houston in Katy. I was born in Waco, Texas and go there every few months to be with family. Many of my family members are buried in the Robinson Cemetery south of Waco going back to my great-great-grandmother. Growing up in Robinson, a farming community at the time, was a wonderful experience.

At the age of fifteen my parents and I moved to Texarkana, Texas. I completed high school and junior college in Texarkana. While attending UT my parents moved back to Robinson. I did six months of active duty in the Marine Corps and five and a half years in the reserve program. After completing the six months active duty, I moved to Houston, TX to seek my fortune. I would have to say my wife, children and grandchildren are my fortune. I am happily married and retired and have eight grandchildren which add joy to my life. If you think I can help you, feel free to contact me.

If you have any corrections or additions to a memorial, please let me know. If you would like for me to transfer a memorial, please let me know.

Opps......yes they do have a 54, in-back of the funeral home. My map doesn't show that name, but will go over there soon.

RE: All Saints Ukrainian Cemetery
I still have a 92 year old aunt around that I am asking questions to before we lose that avenue but she knows nothing about computers.
I did try and call All saints Ukr. Cemetery yesterday since they are in the city and the cemetery is outside the city. Anyway, nobody answered. Will try again today. I am trying to get maps for the cemetery. I will check with the Manitoba Geneological society also because they have lots of stuff that is not digitized yet.
Do you have a more private avenue, to provide me your aunts address in Austin?
Regards, Del

You are most welcome. My searching all started at Elmwood cemetery in Wpg. The biggest hurdle is getting maps and trying to find out where people are actually buried. The offices will only give out info to family members and restrict the number of requests you can make because they believe we are making money from doing this. Its sad really. So when people make a request, it would truly help if the section, and gravesite information was already listed on the request(which means a call to the office). I will see what I can do for your other request. I truly am hoping you are enjoying your summer.
Regards, Del from the Peg in the summer and Austin, Tx in winter. Its a small world after all.

Okay, done now. I would have eventually gotten around to adding this, but I am working my way through the 51 names first. Hope this helps you wherever you are!👍

Do you want to take over her obituary? I am getting up in age and it won't be long before I will not do what little research I do now.

I notice you are caring for the memorials for other members of his family. I am no relation. When I was living in Houston, I began photographing the Hollywood Cemetery, but have since moved to Colorado. May I transfer Thomas Jefferson Rawls 106755031 into your care?
