The virtual cemeteries on my list that start with an asterick are one memorial in each of the international cemeteries I have worked on. I use this to easily find each cemetery.|
Interesting projects I have been working on. (Newest work at top of list):
The Yangtze Incident
On April 19, 1949, British ships were caught in the Chinese Civil War between the Kuomintang (KMT) government of the Republic of China and the Communist Party of China (CPC).
The Sinking of the USS Conestoga A US Naval tugboat that disappeared from outside the San Francisco Bay in 1921, and was never heard from again. It was believed that the ship sank 2,000 miles away from where it was discovered in the Greater Farallones Islands in Oct. 2015.
Murulla Railway Disaster A midnight train collision in the Upper Hunter Valley on Sept. 13, 1926 near Murrurundi, New South Wales. The different cemeteries are interlinked.
Victims of the Sunshine Station Railway Disaster Forty-four people died when one train ran into another in a crowded train station in suburban Melbourne in 1908. Newspaper articles and photos of those killed. Hyperlinks at the bottom of each page will carry you to the different cemeteries involved.
Coranderrk Aboriginal Cemetery, Healesville, Victoria, Australia. Amazing 150 year old photos of the residents of this Aboriginal Station, who believed that Queen Victoria had given the reserve to them in perpetuity.
Dom St. Petri, Bremen, Germany with photos from Sept. 2014.
Goodwood Motor Circuit Cemetery, Chichester, England with photos.
Chichester Cathedral, West Sussex, England with photos.
National Cathedral of Denmark, Copenhagen. With translations.
Sankt Petri Kirke, Copenhagen.
Oude Kerk, Amsterdam is a 14th century church that became an indoor cemetery. Each stone in the floor covers between 2 and 7 graves. I have found a lot of genealogical information and I have photographed both the stone and the area of the church the stone is in; you get a sense of the size of this place. BACK OFF, girls! The silver fox in a number of the pictures is MINE!
China Ashes is my list of people who died in China and the disposition of their ashes was lost. It is especially interesting considering how many of these individuals I could find photos for.
Royal Naval Cemetery - Liu-kung-tao
Holy Trinity Cathedral and the story of the ashes there (or are they?)
Taiyuan Massacre Graves
The Rebellion Cemetery of 1900
Yangpu Public Park
Weihsien Civilian Assembly Center
-Recently I have been including a list of my sources to be placed under the ADD NOTE tab. PLEASE do not post my name and number; my ego just doesn't need that and your bio will just look sloppy. My greatest reward is a beautifully formatted memorial. THANKS, YALL!
IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT MY MEMORIALS, PLEASE INCLUDE THE MEMORIAL NUMBER WITH YOUR QUERY.

I just made an edit for Charles but by accident I put him born in the state of Queensland. It was actually Victoria (Warrnambool to be exact - finding the counties on this website is always confusing).
Sorry about the error.

Hi Rebecca and thank you for creating this memorial 116991540, which seems to be my cousin's great-grandfather. Can you please email me any information you have such as where the source of the information for this memorial is. I can't tell you how amazed I was to find this when I just discovered his name this afternoon -- her grandfather was born in Taiwan so I'm assuming this is her great-grandfather but no idea any background -- and not sure whether she has any either. Any help (feel free to email) would be greatly appreciated!! Judi

That's ok. I photographed every headstone and there was only about 3 I couldn't read. There are a few duplicate names listed for this cemetery which is why it's probably only 88%. :-)

Olive is my grand aunt, you have attached a photo to the memorial, can you tell me the origin of this (where you obtained it from).
|Jan Kessel Hardin||Benjamin L. High|
Ms. Rachel, You have listed in Glenwood Cemetery, Houston, Tx a Mr. Benjamin L. High.# 96900380 He is a cousin of mine. He is also listed as the father of Lula High Cobb. I am not sure where your info came from, Lula's father did have this name, however he was born Aug 1844 in Caddo Parish, La. He was the son of Albert R. and Sarah Jane Minor High. Lula's mother was Sarah Thomas. Sarah was the sister of Benjamin's 1st wife Eliza Thomas. Both were also from Caddo Parish La.
Than you Jan
Yes, I presume deaths in Molongo are in the Molongo valley which is now in the ACT and is very close to the church in Carwoola which is in NSW. The ACT didn't exist at the time of many of the burials at St Thomas'. NSW gave the land to the federal government in 1911 to create the ACT.
The area was probably named after the Molongo River which is in ACT and NSW, so it is a shady area! In this case it would probably be more accurate to type in the locations rather than be constricted to the drop-down lists, but oh well! If records say Molongo I think we should say Molongo ACT, if it says Carwoola or Queanbeyan it is NSW. Hope this helps!
I will definitely get involved in correcting and filling in the memorials to help you out as and when I have the time. Keep on sending through corrections though! Thanks :)
