As a lifetime history buff, and having lived near some old cemeteries, it is only "natural" that the two are now combined.
I've catalogued all the Confederate fallen in the Spotsylvania Confederate Cemetery in Spotsylvania Courthouse, Va. I will soon publish a roster/book with these findings and short bios/service records of these men. A copy will be presented to the Spotsylvania Courthouse Museum.
Also, I'm in the process of doing the same for the Confederate fallen and veterans in the Fredericksburg Confederate and City cemeteries.

As Historian of the above cemeteries, please feel free to inquire of any Confederate burials.
Also, I give tours of each.

The Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania County Battlefields National Park Service refers Confederate burial inquiries to me.

Please include source(s) for ALL edits. Too many times incorrect edits have been submitted, so I rarely accept non-email edits. THANKS for understanding--

RE: Capt William P Walker YOB
Well, I too am a fan of history, thus the minors of anthropology, psychology and archaeology. I am a fan of science as well, but hey a girl has to have some faults. I am also a cousin to the Lead General of the CSA. There are always 3 sides to history, the winner, the loser and the truth. I love the picture too, Bowie and all.

RE: On the memorial for ~
Alonzo Lindsey - 150824372 - I have added "Alonzo's grandfather Lindsey fought under Andrew Jackson in the Creek Indian War (1813-1814), and his great-grandfather Lindsey served in the Continental Army as a Colonel during the Revolutionary War." However, I can't in good conscience indicate that Alonzo's grandfather is Isaac Lindsey [as indicated in your source] because the information that I have has his grandfather as Captain John "Edward" Lindsey rather than Isaac.

Yes, but I really like the idea of having backing info handy. It was listed oddly, like WP Walker or something to that effect. I see that you are into civil war history, what do you specialize in about it exactly? Just curious, being I grew up entrenched in the history of it.

On the memorial for ~
Alonzo Lindsey - 150824372 - I didn't copy the service record over in its entirety as you suggested, but I did incorporate it into what I already had in his bio, and I hope that meets with your approval.

I did quote the source and attributed it to you.

I found the marriage certificate, but darned if I can put my hands back on it. Between it and the Census (which yes, people didn't always tell the truth on them) is what supported my 1818 year of birth. When I find it I will send it to you.
