I hold no dream of fortune vast,|
nor seek undying fame.
I do not ask when life is past
that many know my name.
And I can live my life on earth
contended to the end,
if but a few shall know my worth
and proudly call me friend.

PHOTO REQUEST TIP:
Please make it easier on volunteers and make it more respectful for the cemetery staff by calling ahead and getting your loved one's exact grave location prior to making a photo request, and make sure the exact, full plot location of that lived one's stone (while verifying there is one) is listed in your request because while we're in an office waiting to ask for information for someone we never knew, and asking for a map, there are sometimes other people waiting and making funeral arrangements. It feels so wrong to bother them with a minor request, compared to the former. By calling ahead it gives the staff a better opportunity to serve you with your request and others' with their arrangements at the appropriate times. Besides, some cemetery staff are not so willing to provide grave locations to someone who isn't related and usually go out of their way with greater understanding and appreciation for the F.A.G. volunteer "project." And, I love when we can change a negative attitude about the site/process, to a positive one. A bonus for us all that keeps passing on. Thanks. :)
Note: If I have added a memorial and you would like to manage it instead, don't hesitate to let me know and I will gladly transfer it to you, especially if you have multiple edits, . It's easier to just make the transfer and have you do all the edits you wish, at your pace. And, if I have made any errors or, you have a suggestion, again, please let me know as I take no offense.

Even funnier....it was my husbands great aunt that got me into genealogy. As a young girl she was told by a cousin that Gertrude was her moms child so she wanted me to see if I could find out the truth! It is complicated but I think we know the true story now! Aunt Irene is gone...so SHE knows but I wish she would help ME out.lol As our son calls it, yet another Coinkydink!

I have traced James Martin, his son, to Spokana, WA
According to US Census his birth date was abt 1829.
He married Elizabeth Jane Stapleton 29 Oct 1857 in Davies Co., MO. She passed away 1872. A year later he married Eliz Pyle,08 Jun 1873 in Worth Co., Mo. He passed away 08 Jun 1912 in Spokana, Wa. I haven't found where he was buried. My 2nd Great Grandfather was his brother, Madison Martin.

South Park Cemetery - Roswell, NM
Sorry to say there is no headstone for this person.
Parley is interred in Public Burial (for families who could not pay or for those who had no family).
There is no exact burial plot for people interred in Public Burial, especially the time frame for Parley.

Thanks. Had no idea who BillionGraves was but they sent me a picture and location. Even the managers couldn't find it.
|Russell DiBenedetto||Tony Anthony Ferro|
I contacted Green Acres Cemetery, Bloomington, Cal. to ask for the plot no.of Tony Ferro and was told that they couldn't find a record. What can I do next?
