"Grandchildren are the dots that connect the lines from generation to generation." Lois Wyse (20th century)|
"Life is the flash of a firefly in the night. It is the breath of a buffalo in the wintertime. It is the little shadow which runs across the grass and loses itself in the sunset. What you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others." S Pierce in memorial of "Woody" and Wilda Woodward.
I am a grandmother picking up the genealogy work started by my father, mother and uncle. Now, I am combining and elaborating on this work, linking my family genealogy (ancestors and descendents) and adding memorials for family and friends.
I assisted with the Centennial Chapter NSDAR project of photographing the headstones in Weld County Colorado. http://www.coloradodar.org/chapters/centennialstate/cemeteries.html
If you have family whose memorials I manage, I will be glad to transfer these to you. If you want to copy any of the photos I have posted, feel free to as long is it is not used for commercial purposes.
"Upon my death I authorize any of my memorials to be transferred to any FAG contributor as they are requested."
[Thanks to FAG volunteer 47283828 for this statement on their contributor page]
"If ever there is tomorrow when we're not together... there is something you must always remember. you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. but the most important thing is, even if we're apart... I'll always be with you."

I'll try, I'm so new it seems overwhelming. One step at a time. Thanks, Cheryl
|John Denison||RE: Andrew and Hulda Hadsell|
Thank you so much! :)
|John Denison||RE: Andrew adn Hulda Hadsell|
Thank you for Hulda's memorial.
(Find A Grave Memorial# 80502252)
I see Hulda's memorial is transferred, but not her husband Rev Andrew Hoover Hadsell
(Find A Grave Memorial# 80502228).
Did you want to transfer both to me?
I was out in Fairview yesterday trying to fulfill a request. While I was there I walked by the Aldriches.
I stopped and took some pictures for you. I hope you like them. If you look on the "pictures" tab you'll see a total of four photos.
I hope you enjoy all of the pictures.
PS: Craig and Mary walked by the other day. I gotta tell ya, as I told them, from a half block away that ole Jim sure looks like that Papa of his!!

Done! You can see why there are so few successful searches for gravestones in this area. What is there is often unreadable. The original stones were often simple imprinted concrete bricks as families could not afford anything els.
|Charles Carroll||Tuttle Mt Hope Cemetery|
The only entry for Tuttle in 1846 is for March 19 for a David Tuttle's child age 2 years 1 month 5 days. Burial location is NW 1/4 lot 15 section W.
The fourth grave is just labeled Ellen R, with no date in the plot map ( I assume this is the child). The other 3 graves are labeled and there is a headstone as follows:
Mary Tuttle d. 1880 (2nd wife)
David Tuttle d. 1879
Mary Ann Tuttle d. 1847 (1st wife)
No stone for Ellen.
|Barbara Frame||Ellen Bennett|
Thanks for the transfer although I am not related
|Diane Hurst||RE: Dr. Karl Carson 141519643|
Thank you for the generous offer to transfer, but I am not related. I had come across the obituary of Dr. Carson's father and wanted to get them linked. Thanks anyway!
|Robert Copeland||RE: Odelia Peterson|
Well not so much a peach. I goofed! I was out at Roselawn again today and I thought maybe I'd better double-check the Peterson plot. To my chagrin, there was Odelia's name below Lyle's. There was some snow on the ground when I first checked but I thought it not enough to obscure. And the cemetery office had no record of a marker for her. Anyway, the photo now appears on her memorial page and cemetery records have been corrected.

I will transfer my entry over to you and you can use what information from it you want.
Find A Grave contributor KET has made a suggestion to you regarding your Find A Grave memorial for Ethelwyn Campbell.

It was brought to my attention that we have duplicate memorials for my OES sister and mother of my friends. Can we merge these, please? I have the links...yours has information and photos.
Her daughters were going to put a bio up or give me one, but have not as yet. Our moms died about the same time and I understand how hard it is to do this.
