|Bryan Vanshur||Rose Mortensen Brown|
I just sent an edit to link Rose to her dad (my great grandfather). Thank you so much for having her info. I found out about Rose, Mabel, Jesse, and Otto through a descendant of Mabel's. Anton (my great granddad) was married to their mother but the marriage ended sometime after 1900. My dad never knew about his aunts and uncles and is pretty sure his dad (Rose's half brother) never knew about them either.

Ethel Mae Barnes is interred in City View, however she has used the last name of her second husband - Memorial #6897240 - and a photo already exists.

|Kathy Bauer||Researching John Hamilton Johnson|
A family 'legend' tells of my great aunt, Jeanette Wolfe from Cedar Rapids, who apparently married J. Hamilton Johnson in Tokyo. This mystery in our family has existed for years and via internet, the research has pointed to a wedding in Tokyo in October, 1924. The story is that our Aunt Jean had the marriage annulled before returning to Iowa. She held this secret until her death in 1975 and my cousins and I have been curious about this d'alliance for all these years.
Do you have any information about the trip, their marriage, its abrupt ending, and any other details, including photos. Jeanette was the youngest of four sisters and quite the flapper, from what we discern. This 'scandalous' story has swirled around the family for years and Mr. Johnson has remained nameless until recently. He was never mentioned, discussed, or revealed and of course, we are curious.
One of my cousins has a silver tea service has a platter with the following inscription:
"To Mr. and Mrs Hamilton Johnson
from Mr. and Mrs. B.W. Fleisher
Apparently, both Mr. Johnson and Mr. Fleisher were in the newspaper business in Tokyo.
If you have any leads regarding the marriage, trip, and any other details, we'd love to hear from you!
Best regards, Kathy Bauer

|Diane Mick||Georgia Mae Crawford Mick Armstrong|
I could not find a contact for Janet (probably she has gotten flack from someone considering her message). Could you get a message to her please.
I am writing about Georgia Mae Crawford Mick Armstrong in Yellow Creek Cemetery, behind the Presbyterian Church in Wellsville. My husband is her grandson. Just wondered if Janet could add that she was first married to John Hammond Mick April 5, 1899, in Columbiana County, Ohio. Georgia and John had 5 sons, Frank, John, Roland, Harold Eugene and Malcom Kenneth.
Thank you if you can pass this on -- just a little more history.

They showed her and the plot in their book, but there is no stone in that location.
