Edna Elsie Wood
Thanks very much for posting the memorial photo

Edna Elsie Wood married Victor Eugene W Learned (born 2 May 1846) on 27 July 1871. Victor passed away on 2 May 1881.

Edna then married Thomas Spence on 20 March 1895. Thomas was the City Clerk for Elmira.

Edna and Thomas moved to Pittsburg around 1899 as she had family there.

On 12 December 1906 Edna passed away from shock following an injury in Pittsburg. She was buried in Elmira the next day at Woodlawn Cemetery.

Gabriel Cem, Reading NY
Please note that both gravestones spell Mathews with ONE t, not two.

Thanks for the pics of Gabriel Cem, Reading NY., and the great pics of my 3rd Great Grandfather's headstone, David Mathews and his wife Sarah Wightman Mathews.

RE: abigail gloyd
Kathi, Thanks. Someone took a picture for me of Abigail Benson Gloyds grave, but I need a picture that shows surrounding tombstones as well...I think I am related to you. I am trying to document Abigail Benson Gloyd as the mother of Nancy Gloyd who m. Rufus Holcomb. And also the death of Abigail Bensons mother Abigail Turner Benson in Cummmington Ma. Proving these two items completes the family line to the Mayflower of Edward Doty and also two auxillary lines to Stephen Hopkins and Francis Cooke could be proved as well. The line goes through Noah and Abigail Turner Benson; Japeth and Elizabeth Morse Turner; Japeth and Hannah Hatch Turner; Samuel and Mary Doty Hatch; Edward and Faith Clarke Doty.
