Bio Photo I love researching my ancestry and love to help others who are doing the same. I do not mind going out of my way to research for you, even in other counties if necessary. Don't hesitate to email if you need additional local information in Dale County, Alabama besides a cemetery photo. I'm glad to help if I can. :o)

Deb, hi. sorry for the late answer to your question about middle name. I always go with the name that is on the legal document closest to the persons birth. It means they gave the info themselves when they were young enough to be of sound mind. Birth certificates are the best documents. Death certificates are the worst for personal info because the person giving the info might not know the whole story. Obits are the best source for immediate family info. Hope this helps. Happy hunting...Mickey

Walter Brown
I have transferred Walter Brown to you. I only posted what I found in cemetery records. He is not a relative and I believe that family bible records would be more accurate. If you need any others, please let me know. Lisa

RE: Sacramento City Cemetery
Deborah, my suggestion is to bring up the Find A Grave search bar for Sac City Cemetery and type "A" and then enter. You will get a list of all those memorials that last name begins with A. Check the list for those that do not show a gravestone picture next to it. You may want to check any names without photos against the Sac City online records before you go. Two reasons: first some folks do not put plot info on the memorials and second to make sure there's a headstone. If you come to the cemetery this weekend, I'll be there volunteering and could help you. I'm there Saturday 10-3pm and Sunday 10-12:30pm. Be glad to assist you. Lin

Hi Deborah, I'm not related to anyone in this cemetery. I just take pictures and add them to find a grave. But I try to get as much info on them as I can from all sources available. When all else fails, I go with the name on the government documents. I think they are the most legal. A WW1 document was filled out by the person themselves when they were young. In all the research I've done, marriage documents and census records can have any name given at the time and they usually do. And I feel most people don't want to lie to the government. Good luck with your research....Mickey
