Thank you! We were reading "Harold" when in fact it was "Henry" shortened to Harry. Our error!!

RE: George D Deshon
I offered to give you the page from North American Family Histories as proof of Emeline's marriages and children, and the citation for George Deshone Sr.

The newspaper article is quite long and gives details of George Eddy Jr.'s adult life and marriage. It would be of only a little interest to non-family members. It is a separate document from the one in the book. George Eddy Jr died in New Orleans in a charity ward of yellow fever so is probably buried in that hospital's or the city's potter's field. His widow, Harriet Davis, returned from New Orleans to her home in Pennsylvania before being reconciled with George Eddy Sr.

It is odd that Emeline would have two sons named George, but that seems to be the case.

I have only the most distant tangential connection to this family but have been researching it for my half-siblings and their children.

Best wishes, Suzanne

RE: George D Deshon
I'm not sure how to send you the page from North America Family Histories, p 686. I've saved it as a jpeg. Are you on Ancestry? If so, I can send you a link there. I could post it as a temporary photo on Emeline's memorial and you could download it from there, but it can't stay per Find A Grave rules.

RE: George Lamison
Thank you. "- Civil War Burials in Baltimore's Loudon Park Cemetery" is the book compiled by Anna Watring and refers to the 1861-1865 burial data she transcribed from original records.
I'm in the process of reconciling the original M plots to current A plots and I've a ways to go. The VA has no interment record for him though. If you're able to track down his current burial information I'd be immensely grateful.

Thank you,

Feel free to add as much or as little to Agnes Calder's memorial; I have transferred it to you (and I do not want it back).
