I have seen the Largent name a lot when researching my Swisher/Switzer Family and think you may be familiar with the Hampshire County area.
I have a registration of birth for my cousins Infant Reed and Davis Reed which shows they both died in the Springfield District of Hampshire County and were born in Okonoko. This register shows they were buried in the Bethel Cemetery.
In doing a search I found a Bethel Methodist Cemetery located in Springfield but didn't really get any information. Is that cemetery the same cemetery as the Bethel Methodist Cemetery in Little Cacapon?
I have placed them in the Bethel Methodist Cemetery in Little Cacapon but wanted to make sure I have them in the correct cemetery.
Any info you could give me would be appreciated.
|Karen L (Gregory) Largent||Hello Michael|
Thanks so much for putting the graves in the Powell-Largent cemetery. I am finally getting around to putting all the Largent research I have into my husband's tree.
Your work is greatly appreciated.

You're welcome. The light could have been better though. It's a great spot overlooking the Little Kanawha River.

Yes it is to bad on the stone. Maybe if it was one that was standing up it would be better to read. Thats another reason why its important that we do photos and document these stones as soon as we can.

Hi Michael. I went out and took some photos of Elizabeth's stone. The letters are really faint so I did the best that I could. I do photos with a pretty good camera so what I took is probable the best that you will get from the stone.

You're very welcome. Beard cemetery is located down a farm road, and nestled back in the woods. It's beautiful and heart wrenching at the same time. Most of the stones are missing, and many of the ones that remain are broken or badly weathered. I was happy to see his still intact and legible.

Sorry the stone is so degraded. I couldn't find most of the stones that were requested by find-a-grave but a lot of the stones in the cemetery are not readable. I
