Feel free to use the pictures I have taken of memorials - for family or nonprofit use only.
Private pictures (non grave marker/cemetery) - ask permission to use.
Please do not send long lists of census records to put in bio. I also think putting death records on memorials is quite improper.

The source of places of birth are from a duplicate memorial.
Looks like he may be family with knowledge of the history. He has only 38 memorials.

I have an Ontario birth record for her that lists her name, birth date, parents and East Wawanosh, Huron County location where many of my grandmother's clan originated from and some still live. I have tried to attach the actual document but somehow have not found a way to do it on this site. If you send an email to me at firstname.lastname@example.org, I will forward you a copy of the document. I see her headstone lists her as Christiana. Her birth record records her as Christina Addell McClinton.

When I linked to those memorials I had done a search for name and only noticed that these had family info on them.I sent edit as to location of graves. Mine has only four children of their six listed and I would like the other two (Susie and Harry) be with them. I do appreciate all the sites you have created as it takes a lot of time and effort. My main goal is to link families together for the next generation. Fred and Minnie are my great grandparents. I do not like to see duplicates removed because someone else may have linked to them. What to do? Leave a flower with more info?

Chez, a brilliant writer, producer and Daddy, left us yesterday. He will be my first famous person. Whatever help you can do, including voting, would be appreciated.

Thank you so very much for the transfer of my uncle's memorial. Your immense work for Find a Grave is really appreciated by people like myself who strive to preserve their family heritage. Sometime a picture of a headstone is all we have to remember a person by, and it is virtually impossible to travel all over the United States to capture these. Your dedication and time means so much to people like myself. Thank you for all that you do.

Regarding Fradettes edits.
No, I am not related to this family. The dates and info come from one of the prairie town books that were posted to the www.ourroots.ca website.
I was researching Marilda nee Fradette and her husband Joseph Desmarais because they are buried in military graves in Forest Lawn Cemetery. I referred to Marilda's BC Death Registration with the parents names because this is considered a primary source whereas the book would be considered a second level source.
The reason why I send you the census record is not to be part of the person's data but to show you a second level source where the children are in the household of adults and are listed as sons and daughters. Then you the owner of the memorial decides what to have on the site.
Other Find a Graver persons require me to supply all my sources before they are willing to edit a person. I am sorry that I have inundated you with emails on this extended family. I though you might like to fill in some gaps. I do have more info on other family members, would you like this.
I do agree about not having links to other sites but some researchers do not know of the our roots.ca to help find prairie families and the Fradettes family have 8-10 pages with lots of photos.
Please advise, Karen
|emam||RE: Leslie Olmstead|
As you said the dates correspond and his fathers name is John. His mother was called Kate Emily. I'm over in England and just happened to visit Stonefall Cemetery one day and took some photos. There was five Canadian Airmen and 1 English Airman killed in the same plane.
I have now just found some service records on Ancestry.
It would link the two cemeteries up adding the number for Stonefall. I included the reference in my last message.
Thank you for your quick reply.

Hello, I have seen the memorial that you have added for Leslie Olmstead and I'm wondering if it could be for a RCAF pilot who was killed in England. If so there is also an UK,Find a Grave memorial for him at Stonefall Cemetery (46392234) in Harrogate,Yorkshire. I'm wondering what sort of memorial is in the cemetery and I thought that you might like to put something on your memorial to say there is also another one. I don't know if there is any way that you can link the two together, I know how to do some things on here but not everything.
I see that you have kindly added very many memorials so I understand if you can't bring the info to hand. Please find below your reference.
