|Stuart Awbrey||RE: Parents of Benjamin|
My post of August 2016 is incorrect. This is the accurate relationships. The primary source is Aubrey/Awbrey – Dominion and Decline published by Jon A. Awbrey in 2007. Francis Awbrey to son Captain Samuel to son Samuel, Jr to son Benjamin who married Margaret Houston. Jon's sources are South Carolina Revolutionary Soldiers, Sailors, Patriots and Descendants by Mary Carter and Joseph T. Maddox; Roster of South Carolina Patriots in the American Revolution by Bobby Gilmer Moss; and the 1790 U.S. Census, Newberry Co., SC. Let me know if you would like more details of these people.
I have different birth/death dates for John W.Banister-# 147651242 (my great-grandfather.-
DOB 6-16-1843 DOD 1-6-1906
Also would like transfers of his pages connected to him. Thank you
|Marguerite Collins||Mary F M Couey again|
Mary FM was not a step sister, but rather a half sister. My great grandfather Moses Wiley Collins' father was John M "Jack" Collins and his mother was Isabelle Walker Collins. Mary F M and Moses Wiley shared the same father.
|Marguerite Collins||Mary FM Couey #14848910|
If you are not related to Mary Fannie Mae Collins Couey, could you transfer this long lost relative?
She was the step sister of my great grandfather,
Moses Wiley Collins. She was born in 1842 to John M and Lucinda(nee Strength)Collins. We had oral history about Mary Fannie Mae, but misspelled her married name as Coney...their marriage certificate with William's last name, could easily have been read Coney, not Couey...so we lost her after 1880 in AL. Many thanks, but if you cannot because you are related, I will happily provide you with more family connections. Again, thanks, Maeguerite Frances Collins
|Stuart Awbrey||Parents of Benjamin|
I have two sources that conflict on this Benjamin's parents. One states he is the son of Philip, son of Francis. The other states he is the son of Samuel son of Francis.
