Bio Photo Carolyn B. Leonard, author, freelance magazine writer, genealogist, speaker, past president of Oklahoma Writers Federation, recently honored in Kentucky for locating and marking graves of American Revolutionary Patriots. She is author of the book "Who's Your Daddy? A Guide to Genealogy from Start to Finish" and enjoys presenting workshops and programs to help people find their family's place in history.

If you see incorrect or missing info on a memorial that I manage, I will be happy to fix that. (Please provide info on where your info can be sourced) Also I am happy to transfer any immediate family members to another volunteer. Findagrave guidelines say request only transfer within four generations, but I sometimes agree to transfer more distant relatives - so long as they are not also my ancestors. Use the "Edit" tab on the memorial which will make it easier to add info or make other changes.

Please cite my name as reference if you choose to use any photos that I have posted here. Please show the courtesy of asking permission and telling me where you want to use the info.

Rev. Cornelius Cosine
My name is Laurel Auchampaugh

I am descended from Rev. Cosine by his daughter L. Cosine Bodine. Her Husband was John Bodine, I have been unable to locate his grave.

Their sons Abraham and Cornelius came to Cayuga County, town of Owasco from Conowago in 1793. It was 10 families who came by "tented wagons" led by Roeliff and Jacob Brinkerhoff. They settled around Owasco Lake in Cauga County N.Y.

I have been the Owasco Historian for over 30 years, and have written much about these pioneer families as I am desended from Both John Bodine and Charles VanTine.

I have pictures of her grave in Selover Cemetery in Niles next to her oldest son Abraham.

I visited the Low Dutch Northern Cemetery in late March this year. I hope to find more information about my ancestor. Can You help me?

RE: Mary Branch Glick 7915395
Hello Carolyn,

I will try to find out what I can for you, but it will take a month or more. My mother recently passed away and I am the executor of her estate with 3 out of state siblings. Needless to say, I've been pretty busy.
If you'd like the information sooner, you may contact the Saginaw Public Library, ask for the genealogy dept. and provide them with the following info.:

Sunday, March 20, 1960 (A1, D7)

They can search the microfische for you and provide copies...(A1 & D7 being the page numbers the articles about her were on.)
I believe there may be a donation requested for getting the info to you, but if you are willing to wait, I can and will look into it for you after things here settle down.
Please let me know if you are willing to wait, so I know whether to look into it for you.
Feel free to email me at

I thought it had been taken care of until I was doing a search on There was the incorrect info. Apparently, I don't know how to delete it. Help!- Julie Whitmire
