RE: Mable Chapell Peters
Hi

Thanks for the information. I could not find the obit on your page, if you would like, you can e-mail it to me and I'll add it to the bio section.

We lost power for three days, but no major problems, I shopped this AM, so we are all set to just hibernate for a couple of days, both being retired.

Have a good day,
Fred

Hi,

I did see the obit a while ago, I think he was gored by a bull?? I don't know how Carl and Lois died. Sister Norma was my grandfather's brother Lyman Porter's wife, I think I may have only met them once or twice, though I hear from a grandson once in a while through Ancestry.

I'll try to let you know if anything turns up.

Are you related to these folks?

Fred

One more thing,
After a bit more searching, turns out Mabel's first husband, William, was my great aunt Norma Chapell Porter's brother.
Thanks again,
Fred

Hi Again,

Found a reference to Mabel's burial as the wife of Frank Peters (1882-1967), Frank is buried with his first wife Edith Beeton Peters (1888-1948) in Millville, Orleans County. I have linked them.

Have a great day,
Fred

RE: Mable Chapell Peters
Hi,

I also looked briefly when you requested the edit, but no likely candidates. I'll pole around a bit more and see if anyone turns up. If Mable was married to Mr. Peters when she died, F-a-G guidelines say that should be the name on the memorial, that is, the name at time of death is the acceptable memorial name.

Thanks,
Fred

Mable Chapell Peters
Hi,

I am happy to process the edits you suggest for Mable Find A Grave Memorial# 121756030. Do you know what the significance of the name "Peters" is on her stone? I know someone will ask! There are no other people by that name in Byron, but they are an old Bergen family nearby.

Thanks,
Fred

Riga
I can assure you that this is in Riga. I tend to photograph entire cemeteries, although I am not finished with that one. I have never photographed in the other cemetery you mentioned.

The gravestone photos were taken by bcfrench. The memorials were created by bcfrench so I would assume that the memorials were created in the same cemetery where the photos were taken. You would want to touch base with bcfrench for verification. I was the one who originally put the memorial in the Leicester Cemetery and I do not recall now why I did that. I must have had a reason but don't recall what that was now.

Albert Latreille
Thanks for your info about Albert Latreille. I've researched Ancestry as well and see that he is a distant (very distant) cousin of mine. Thanks for your help and research!

I have added the inscription. I have also added the photos from the other memorial.
