Small world isn't it? My mother's parents were Joe and Susie Berry. We lived with my grandmother for several years to help care for her. Your mom would come and help mama with granny. I know you remember my Uncle Gene Berry. I also remember playing with your sisters.

Bradberry – Mrs Homer died last Sunday afternoon at her home near Arnoldsville, aged about 36 years. Death followed an attack of grip and pneumonia. The end came suddenly, the lady being apparently in a much improved condition. The funeral took place Tuesday morning at 10o’ckock from Temple Methodist church, near Big Creek. Deceased is survived by her husband, M H E Brad berry, and twelve children, three girls, and nine boys, all living. Rev Ben Smith, of Barnett Shoals, officiated at the funeral services. Deceased was a consistent member of the Methodist church and a woman of fine character, greatly beloved by all who knew her.

Death Claims Mr
Funeral services were conducted Monday morning at 11 o’clock for Mr Homer Bradberry who died Sunday at the home, 129 Miles street after a lingering illness of 12 months. The deceased was 50 years of age and had spent practically all his life in Athens. He was a member of Young Harris Memorial church and was a well known citizen of the city and county. Funeral services were at Young Harris church and conducted by Rev S R Wingfield. The burial at Temple, Oglethorpe county. The following were pall bearers, Messrs Jack Tolbert, Bux Nix, Henry Waldrup, Bonds Johnson and R L Smith. Bernstein Bros Funeral Home in charge.
He is survived by the following: wife, Mrs Bertha Bradberry Mrs Louis Brooks, Oglethorpe county, Mrs Mattie Harge, Greenville, SC, Miss Maggie Bradberry, Athens nine sons, Burch, Larkin, Charlie, Howard, Joe , DC, Bennie and Hugh all of Athens and four grand children.
