I would love for you to visit my memorial dedicated to John "Doc" Hoy and leave a floral tribute. I found his very sad story in an Omaha Newspaper from April 1899. I have no idea what Hoy family he actually belongs to, but have adopted him to mine, nevertheless.

|Carol Westerman||RE: Aarons children|
I am descendant of Abraham S Loucks, brother of Jacob S Loucks. I get asked for genealogical help from Jacob folks from time to time. Recycling the same names in every generation makes a lot of confusion.
|Carol Westerman||RE: Re: The children of Rev. AARON LOUCKS|
Daughter Anna M Loucks died in California (CA death record on Ancestry) Family records (here) say she was buried at Long Beach, Ca, Wednesday, Jan 15, 1975 (informant not given). F.A.G. does not show this.
Son William Jacob Loucks died in March 1966 according to Social Security index listing. Mt Pleasant. His widow Alice Mary (Love) Loucks' obit appears on April 9, 1976 (Daily Courier) She was taken to Zimmerman Funeral Home in Mt Pleasant and reportedly interred at Green Ridge (Connellsville). (Might they be together? F.A.G. does not list her there, nor can I find Wm J on F.A.G. It seems likely he was buried in Westmoreland County, where he lived most of his life.

I was wondering if this is a relative of yours and if not would you be willing to transfer his memorial to us. He is my husband's grandfather. Memorial #70793254 We would like to add a bio and update his memorial. Thank you
|Suzzy Thomas||RE: New Question|
Sorry Kathy....I don't have any further information on Grace Truellson. All I really have available our names, dates and plot locations. Very few cemetery records ever had anything more than that, especially for older burials. Sorry.
|Shirley||RE: Re: Hester Ann (Henderson) Knipe #69351699|
Thanks - looks like the info I have is probably correct - that my Hester married Albert Henderson and then Jacob Eador. Now I just need to keep looking for them.

Memorial for Hester Ann Henderson Kneip. Am wondering if you are related to this woman. Am working on the Henderson (one of my lines) family history. What I have shows that Hester Ann Henderson first married Albert Henderson in Morgan County on Feb. 19, 1857 and then married a Jacob Eador on Aug. 31, 1865 in Morgan County. I'm having no luck finding Jacob Eador and haven't found a Hester Ann Eador either. Do you have documentation sowing that the Hester Ann Henderson Kneip in this memorial is the daughter of Elias Henderson and Eliza Brown Henderson? I'm also descended from Stephen Henderson thru Mahala as Elias was (a brother to Mahala. Any info you have would be most appreciated - an obit or ?

|XnPilot-4U||3 babies left in Hummelstown|
While passing through Find A Grave I saw your note to Kathie Gifford with this quote, "A few years ago I inherited 2 books from my Aunt entitled, Dauphin County Tombstone Inscriptions, Volumes, I & II, by, Oscar Stroh." My hopes are up.
In Hummelstown Cemetery (new) there are three old worn markers standing for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th born children of Peter & Elizabeth Frantz, Samuel (1859-1860), Adam (1861-1861) and Emma (1862-1864). They each have a poem under the Name and dates. One is just barely readable, I can only capture a few words at the beginning or end of line on the other two. Flash! I suddenly remember seeing a reference to these books before! So I went to Google and sadly found that neither have the new cemetery, only the old church yard. So,
Here is the one heart grabber.
Peter & Elizabeth
Born Jan 18, 1861

Twas hard indeed
To part with thee
But Christ's strong arm
Not giving up.
|Ben Worden||RE: Question Re: George & Augusta (Ritter) Mann|
You are very welcome.
I am not related to the Mann family. I have a common ancestor with the Grim family.
Hi there! Would you happen to have the obituaries for Elmer George WIlliams and Meriel Williams? Thank you.
